Probably the house in the first picture. But the graffiti would turn me off.

  Cool. I would probably choose the appartment as these centuries old buildings are all protected and any work being done on them must be approved by the ministry of culture. Otherwise there is no question. The grafitti are the least of the concern. You could not even see them from the property. 😁

    There was a mansion in Waukesha, Wisconsin the wife and I was wanting to buy. It was rather affordable, well within our price range...BUT part of the historical district and was considered a historical building. So yes...LOTS of headaches and hurdles if you ever had to do anything or fix anything. So, we opted out. But it was a BEAUTIFUL and very spacious house.

        In hindsight we definitely did. We never would have been allowed to rent the place out, and it would have been much harder to sell when my wife made the decision to move from Wisconsin to Illinois back in 2014.
