The 'wierd' chilly plant About 6 years ago a friend and a coworker of mine tryed planting some chilly plants indoors. He was testing if they would grow under (then) a new kind of LED lighting. The result was not as good as he has hoped. The plants became stemmy and not really thriving, so he wanted to get rid of them and I could not allow that. I took one of the plants and started growing it in natural light inside. Years went by and it never flowered or produced any chillys. Then after 4 years my mother in law took some branches and planted them by herself. Her cuttlings started to produce flowers and red chilly peppers. This year we put the plant on the balcony over the summer months and it is finnaly bearing fruit. But instead of red chillys we got yellow ones. From the same plant?!
