The men went into the jungle in search for their gold bars and to retrieve the dead body of Norman, who was their brother in arms during the Vietnam War.
The Bloods, that is Norman, Paul, Otis, Eddie and Melvin, had already planed to keep the whole chest for themselves. Norman(who was Black Panther) had planned to use this chest of gold as a source to fight for the Black people and also for their community. Unfortunately, Norman was killed. Then the four friends came back to retrieve Norman and the chest with the help of Otis’ ex lover, Tien and David, Paul’s son.
There were several shootout that resulted to their death, remaining one man who later retrieved all the gold bars. He shared it to the family of his dead friends according to their previous requests.
