Its almost the same lang naman. For me mas convenient if grab. Kilala mo yung driver and alam mo na agad yung price it depends nalang sayo if dadagdagan mo. Some of the taxi drivers kase they making kontrata especially when its far kasi lugi daw sila pabalik.

Depende padin yata haha.Kung saan dadaan. Minsan kase ganon, iniiwas sa traffic o kaya nilalayuan yung rota para malaki kita. 600+? How far is that?

Service road though then mrt route. From sucat to cubao is 600+ 😂😂😂😂 i usually just spend 50 getting there, now it's ×10 and it's gonna make my wallet cry for sure. I think toll payments are excluded sa fee din?

I think it depends on the route that the driver/s will be taking.

I haven't used grab lately but maybe the rates were affected by the pandemic? Not really sure tho. Just try to reload the app, rebook or try again later

Comparing the 2 now, mas mahal pa rin grab. Regular taxi just bases on grab price talaga pero may additional fee kasi grab

Yeah, it's convenient and all but the prices really don't make sense to me ;-; they charge both the travel time and the mileage- it's not fair to the user

Oh really I didn’t know that. Here in Qatar I drive my own car and if I need I use uber. Does grab have any competition in the area?

I would drive the car if i had a license, to be honest but i didn't manage to get one before the lockdown started. I regret. And so far, grab doesn't have competitors anymore

$ 0.00

That is the reason for high prices. There is no competition and they charge as much as they want

I'm aware ;-; grab used to be a bit cheaper when uber was around but now it's just being ridiculous

Why is uber not there anymore? When I was in Thailand I couldn’t find uber there as well. Some legal issues may be?

They were put in a merger and eventually, the service was lost

Oh. That is bad. Any business must have a healthy competition, for the business to grow and the consumer to benefit

Yeah, else poor consumers, really

Indeed. These are the basics of any business, i hope the government issues licenses to more providers to create a healthy competition
