Maybe you have your personal data out of date, or in the part of studies and courses you need some to place, or if you have several jobs you have to place that too ... it is simply to update your curriculum summary.
You just have to send them an updated resume.
I asked my professors ;;-;; a chemist's cv is tailored per company, apparently. I'm having a hard time on the tailoring part because most of my experience is food or drug related. The company is a construction company
That's a tough one. When is the deadline for that? You need an expert on that.

You can search a lot of samples in Google, you are a chemist, right? so find some sample CV of a chemist and follow the format.
