Basically, it's nature that our growth and development starts from childhood to adulthood. Between that period, next to childhood is teenagers or adolescent.

We grow holistically. In physical growth, changes of our body's height, shoulders, breast, and other body parts occurs. Emotionally, we grow matured and know what is good and what is right. Mentally, we acquired some knowledge at home and in achool. Spiritually, we learn to know God, to love and to serve Him. That's the nature of man's progress and development.

Do money, time and energy affect the stages of our lives? How these three interrelated to each other in terms of our youth period, adult stage and old stage? Commonly, the three stages of life are childhood, adolescence and adulthood. The following is the new versions of the stages of life. I got this one on my Facebook account from a certain group page where most of the posts there were all about life's lessons, inspirational quotes, Bible verses and reflections.

Youth

You have the time and energy, but not the money.

Youth is the stage of our lives when we are young. This is the period before we become adult. Youth or teenagers are very independent to their parents or guardian. They are flexible and youthful. Some are awake, alert and enthusiastic. They have time and energy to go everywhere and enjoy their lives but they don't have money. They want to buy anything what they want but they don't have money. They are eager to travel anywhere but they don't have money. Most of the youths are still students who are incapable of finding their own money.

Adulthood

You have money and energy but no time.

Adulthood is a period next to childhood. This is the stage of life of being fully developed and fully grown. At this stage, we attained the emotional, physical and spiritual maturity. We have much energy to earn more money but we don't have time for ourselves. We are receiving our salaries monthly but the problem is we don't have even time for our family. We have energy to work but we don't have time even for our physical necessities. We owned lot of materials, jewelries, cars, lots and big houses but we don't have time to unwind ourselves. We are wealthy but don't have time to talk to our children and partner. That's the life of being adult nowadays.

Old age

You have all the money and the time but no energy.

• According to Wikipedia, the definition of old age refers to ages nearing or surpassing the life expectancy of human beings and is thus the end of the human life cycle.

This stage is the retirement period. This is also the period of senior citizens. At this moment, they have acquired and saved money from their works when they were employed but they have no strength at all to go everywhere. They were receiving pensions and allotments for their maintenance but no energy to spend vacation anywhere they want to go. They were staying at home seem their lives behave or act like a child but no more energy to go to beach or mall to enjoy their lives. They have money saved from the bank and have free time because of no work at all but they don't have strength anymore even to eat, to walk and to care for themselves because during their adult stage, they were so haggard in their workplaces. They were exhausted by lot of papers to work. They were so tired mentally and physically by heavy works. They have now money and time but no energy at all.

Final Thoughts

Live life to the fullest. We live rightfully on every stage of our lives. Life is too short and we have one and only one life to treasure and cherish the good memories we ought to spend.

Enjoy each moment of life with what you have because you can never have it all at the same time. Do something great while we still have money to enjoy our wealth. Let's do something special while we still have time for our family and friends. Let's make our lives difference while we still have energy to do some physical activities. Let's spend our treasure, time and talent for the glory of Almighty Father who gave those gifts to us.
