Designed for motherhood

None could ever have imagined that Mary would one day become the caring and enthusiastic mother of two. As a child, her mum had been very much concerned about the way she reacted to things that were obviously feminine. While other girls of her age did all sorts with babies dolls. Mary never showed the slightest interest in dolls . She always ended up giving away every doll her mother bought for her. Even she never did consider her self as having the nurturing nature women are known to have.

Growing up, she had always dreamt of being everything but a mother. She considered having a very successful career in engineering. She would one day become one of the country's top engineers. She also imagine living her dream of becoming a prolific writer of fictions. But never did she give motherhood a thought.

At age twenty Mary was seriously ill, and for several months the doctors relentlessly fought to save her life. After series of several treatments given to her, she actually survived with a condition that she could not longer conceive, the doctors declared as some of the really powerful drugs she took hard devastating effects on her womb.

Many young woman would have convulsed on hearing such news but owing to Mary's disposition, it was not surprising how that with a mere shrug of the shoulder, she waved off the news. After all, she had never seen having children as something anyone should be so crave.

Mary soon get welded to James who himself was not into children before long however, tragedy b, which necessitate their having a child, struck! The only family James had left his brother, together with his wife died in an auto crash , leaving behind a sixteen months old toddler.

As dawned on Mary that she would inevitably have to take the charge of little Micheal, she panicked. How on earth was she supposed to mother the child? But as soon as she held Micheal in her hands, the tenderness and helplessness she saw in the little boy's eyes stirred something in her. Something she had always felt was there but couldn't really fathom. She pitied the child. No it was affection she felt for him. She actually wanted to take care of him, she realised. She really did have the feeling to take care of Micheal! She was much alarmed by the burst of emotions she felt.

Several weeks after James took Micheal home, Mary discovered that she was more at peace. She felt a kind of satisfaction and wholeness she could not even explain. The void and hollowness that pursuing other things she considered more important than motherhood could not fill, was filled by the joy of caring for a child that was not even hers. At this, she began imagining the thrill of bearing a life in her for nine months. The thought of that alone made her very excited.

Five years after James took Micheal in, Mary was confirmed pregnant. Though the pregnancy, anyone could just read the joy, happiness, and tender love for the unborn in her eyes. At every time possible her free hand never left caressing her bulging stomach. At the time appointed, she was delivered of a beautiful baby girl. Now she testified to being a happier and more fulfilled woman.

Conclusion

God made human beings a masterpiece of his creations. In his wisdom. The woman in particular was purpose built. Who can fault the ingenuity and creativity of the lord Almighty God in the concept and design of the woman? She was not the first to be created yet, yet being made after the men, she was more polished and of finer features. She's pretty, gentle, caring and gracious. This is why feminity is known everywhere as an epitome of tenderness, gentleness and kindness. Someone even said that nature made the woman to be adoring and emotional.
