Be Kind : My True Life Experience

Some years back at the university, we were in class; one of those days, the class was crowded with students.

I noticed a lady was looking for sit, students were focused on the lecture, not minding her, some did but did not bother, I offered her my sit.

It was quite uncomfortable that day but I managed to jot down notes, at end of the class, she took my number.

She called, asked if I knew her previously, which I did not, I was informed she was the registrar's wife. That simple act of kindness ( offering her my sit) opened doors of opportunities.

It gave me some level of influence, the actions you take today, will determine where are you will be tomorrow.

Be kind, because; it will help to determine the level of people you will meet, the kind of people that pick interest in you.

It's a gesture you express unconditionally, this can go a long way in connecting you to people you do not know .

Being kind is an act, it is the privilege of assisting someone and lending a helping hand.

You are not compelled to be kind,let it follow naturally,it does not necessarily mean that every person you showed kindness will come back; to say thank you, if they come okay, if not good and fine.

The person you showed kindness; know somebody, the somebody, Knows someone else and the someone else knows another person. It's a chain of reaction.

Be kind, you don't know where they will be having a meeting and your name is mentioned, somebody will remember your kindness and recommend you for that position.

That connection you need is in the hand of somebody, that finance for that business idea, is in the hands of somebody, that Visa you need for that journey, is in the hands of someone.

Therefore, be intentionally kind to people, you know or don't know.

Stop amassing wealth; the children will spend in few months,after you are gone; rather use part of that wealth show some level of kindness to someone.
