Don't Fully Trust Robots

Robots have long been an important part of technology. Its continuous development has made robots infiltrate many fields. Robots are always synonymous with independent systems, in the sense that robots can replace humans to operate certain machines using their own "sense". Until now, this standalone system appears to be running well and does not cause much harm to humans, even more convenience for humans. However, is it safe enough for humans to fully believe in decisions made by robots or their independent systems?

Take an example of the autopilot system on an airplane. This autopilot system is very helpful for pilots to fly their aircraft without requiring control. While useful, the autopilot isn't completely automatic. Human labor is still needed to arrange and change the route. There is actually a standalone system that is more sophisticated than the autopilot. The real robot uses this. Many of these robots have the ability to recognize human emotions, movements and faces. Even though the robot is man-made, is there no possibility for the robot to "betray" and turn around to oppress humans?

Such risk is not impossible, for that a means has been developed to deal with unwanted events. Researchers are trying to increase the complexity of robotic thinking using "formal verification". In this way, the researcher can understand how effective the decisions the robot makes are.

The method above is considered important to be applied to medical robots as well as police. Medical robots in the future may change their minds and turn around to harm their patients. Police robots can make the wrong decision to shoot targets that should not be harmed.

The point from this, and it looks like The Random Reward Bots doesn't do well to evenly rate all the content here. Because bots seem to be fixated on new users registering. Sorry to make this opinion as new user in this community.

You need to wait 3 days to get some tips, like what the robot said "If I don't tip your article its either I don't understand or your article is not good"
