I wonder if it's time to go back to trying to promote my artwork on Patreon in the hope people subscribe. That might be worth a shot, since the other options which I've tried seem to be a dead end ...

Why is there always at least one small dog or cat in the "Click on something you can eat" CAPTCHAs? Am I supposed to click/select it, because technically I could ... It is a concern I have, given that I work with dogs on weekends. Part of that includes ensuring that the small ones don't escape and run into kennels where they'll get chomped by bigger ones when it's feeding time. As for the resident cat (the bane of the manager's life, for which I appreciate it), it thinks it's invincible since it can climb the fence or a shelf and get onto the roof and has yet to come short.

That is the question I asked my sponsor a few days ago. Thus began a lot of correspondence back and forth to determine how much crypto to send to my Iranian contact (whom only accepts XNO), which I would need to exchange from BCH (since the ATM my sponsor uses can't send XNO). According to my contact, there was some sort of international fund set up, but the Iranian government blocked or confiscated the fiat (I'm, not sure which), leaving citizens to fend for themselves. He has also been unable to set up a crypto-based fundraiser, due to the difficulty of accessing the Web from within Iran.
The three of us managed to establish this much: The amount he requires is at least that which is sufficient to buy food for at least one person for one month. (Whether he has dependents other than his dog, I don't know.) The guy is literally starving to death and his teeth are falling out due to malnutrition (scurvy or something related).

When I see people complaining about the WEF and/or WHO "telling us what to do", I assume that they're too stupid to understand the difference(s) between guidelines, recommendations and rules. I also assume that they can't see past their indignant and self-entitled gut reaction long enough to consider why a little personal discomfort/difficulty in their lives for the potential benefit of anyone other than themselves.
Politically, my views are anarchic and I'm dubious of authority in general, particularly any that tells me what to do without my asking for that input. Socially, I'm a strong believer in Humanism and doing what does the most good for the most (ideally all) people. Maybe it's because I happen to agree with those organisations' pronouncements, but I don't find them to be controlling or oppressive to anyone who intends to be a decent human being.

I have five things I want to get done today, all of which are to do with finding some sort of employment and none with being a glorified dog butler. Yet, that's the majority of what I have done this morning. I'm definitely terrible at getting things done at the best of times, so it's noticeably worse when I'm sick.
I'm not at all amused. "Get some dogs", they said. "They'll enhance your life immeasurably", they said. That's all well and good until said pooches get old and lose the plot. Caring for them is quite a large responsibility to take on, especially since I struggle to even adequately take care of myself ...
