Since Deviant Art no longer caters to deviants, Vixxi is sadly no more, I'm having trouble selling NFTs on OpenSea and SolSea, my Weasyl account probably still hasn't been activated despite creating it about a month ago and I can't remember the name of the other Website at which I looked (which might be defunct, anyway, even though it's Web3 IIRC)... I wonder if it's time to go back to trying to promote my artwork on Patreon in the hope people subscribe. That might be worth a shot, since the other options which I've tried seem to be a dead end ... Perhaps I should just put stuff on DeviantArt with links on where to get the explicit stuff and wait for it to be removed and my account banned. Thou shalt not "upload, post, or otherwise transmit any public and shared content that is pornographic, obscene, offensive, blasphemous, unlawful, threatening, menacing, abusive, harmful, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, libelous, vulgar, illegal or otherwise objectionable". And who is the Almighty Arbiter that decides what is 'obscene' or 'offensive' (and to whom?) or 'otherwise objectionable' etc etc? How stupid.
Precisely! It was that exact phrasing that put me off even bothering to even create an account on that sorry excuse of a Website in the first place, following my observing that anything that could be considered even vaguely sexy/suggestive was censored and subsequently removed (although it seems to be an ongoing game of whack-a-mole between the artists and the administration). Why, then, is the site called *Deviant* art? It's about as deviant as a Catholic church bake sale, IMO! Any of us whom have been to a Christian school for more than a few days know how stiflingly dreary those are. Does it offend you (and your delicate lilly-white sensibilities), yeah, Mother Superior? Well, then we must ban and/or remove it post haste! Fucking prudish and repressed jizz wickets that need a good rogering, I'm sure!
All that, and I bet their ANSI gallery is STILL full of high-res shit that doesn't belong there...
