Loneliness is a big word for me. I sometimes experienced this, especially when I was alone sleeping on my bed at night after a very tiring day. Besides, it made me cry very hard but I did not have someone to lean on. There were also times when I wanted to talk to someone however, I did not want to be a burden to them. So instead of thinking of giving up what I always did when I felt lonely are these:
Talking to myself and saying that I am blessed; I am loved; God is always with me; I am strong, and that feeling is just temporary.
Reminding myself and believing that I have God and my family and friends who love and believe in me.
Reminding myself that God has a better plan for me and everything happens for a reason and that is for the best.
Last but not the least, I am praying silently and solemnly and leaving my worries to Him.
After I did these things, I was able to have a good sleep and relieved. Being alone is okay but having the feeling of loneliness is not good. So, find your own ways to fight loneliness because if not it might give you depression and anxiety.
For those who experience and feel loneliness, I hope those mentioned above also helps you.
