Where It All Went Wrong

Hit rock bottom and ready to give up, he had lost all hope of ever finding a job. It's being two years now since after graduating with a first class in the university, most of his friends with third class had all gotten jobs or already made it before finishing school....It was then he finally believed what they had always been teasing to him about "You go fit know book, that one no mean say you go know life, see ehnn.... Chinedu, na who you know no be weytin you know go help you for life", James had always told him everytime they finished exam after chinedu refused to give James answers in the exam Hall.

Three hours later;

After he had he's bath in Deep thoughts, feeling regretfull knowing he hadn't really helped anyone in school or been socialable, so he had no one to turn to or call. Only mom back home who he knew still has high hopes for him to change their lives.

Carried he's phone, turned on his data to try and watch some porn videos to get he's mind of he's insecurities and regrets.

A YouTube video notification popped up at the upper part of his phone. It had a large thumbnail with large fonts written against it saying "how to make $100 dollars an hour being a customer sales consultant" qualifications were a first class upper, no work experience required.

He had he's doubts at first, due to his other tried and failed attempts for online jobs that didn't work out... Most of them due to the fact that he was a Nigerian. But since he clicked the video and saw in the description "available only to Nigerians", and it was a very popular brand that owned it.... He also noticed that the video hadn't gotten much views yet, it was just posted he decided to click it. To him "what the heck?! What do I have to lose?

He watched the video with reluctance, but later got interested by the content. He fitted all the qualifications, it was the job he was searching for all this while came Knocking at he's door. Excited, he quickly went to he's browser, registered. He sent them a picture of he's documents and bloom! He was qualified for the job. He danced and thanked the Lord for showing him that all he's suffering wasn't in vain, but it wasn't over yet!.

The documents still had to go through one last person to which they would then send him he's activation link to start working from the comfort of he's home. Unfortunately and unknowningly to him that person turned out to be he's first love to which he played back then and left saying she wasn't smart enough for him, she doesn't take her studies seriously and she's too wild... She didn't really forgive him for that since he didn't really care to apologise to the only girl that stood through he's side hoping for marriage after university...

So, she received the documents via email, check them out. She said in her mind "okay, he's documents checks out!, He's okay" she was about to approve it when she saw the name of the owner of said documents. Oh! Hated began spiring down her spine, when she began to remember her begging him and all the pains she went through because of him... Clueless to him back home waiting and smiling, preparing to log in.

Tear droplets rowed down her eyes as she declined he's documents and sent him and Email saying... "You aren't smart enough for this job sir, you don't take things seriously, and you are just too wide. A smiling face emoji at the end of it.

He was confused, and in shocked asking himself what happened? After he saw the email...

He decided to check the email to see if there was any thing he missed out, he then realized that those words felt familiar and the emoji was kinda unprofessional.

He looked at the name of the person in charge at the bottom of the email and there he knew finally.
