I told the story of a boy who walked towards me in a market narrating the stories I told while training his colleagues.
It was the narration I used to explain the importance of stories or why everyone must be a storyteller( I believe everyone can tell a story).
There is NOISE everywhere and every day, our attention span is shrinking. So, you must do something to catch people's attention and one thing to use is telling STORIES! Great brands tell amazing brand stories.

Here is an analogy to this statement:
I am going to use the example of the best storyteller ever lived(arguably)
He wanted to tell his followers about his Kingdom then he likened it to that of a mustard seed.

"He presented another parable to them, saying, โThe kingdom of heaven is like a MUSTARD seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full-grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branch" Mathew 13 vs 31-32.
Now, see this:
โBecause you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain..." Mathew 17 vs 20.
Connecting the two stories, you will see that his followers had an understanding of what a mustard seed is. Then he used it to teach them the concept of faith(he used their KNOWN to explain their UNKNOWN) that is what it is.
Everyone is in the business of persuading(directly or indirectly) and to be a good persuader, you must be a good storyteller.
Stories well told keeps the audience around.
