One illusion we force to be real... Yea they could be group of people that think in similar way. But to judge people base on race is tragic.
At this point of the Human-existence, things like racism shouldn't be an issue... To be racist is like judging people base on height.
Saying all short people are slow thinkers and all tall people are smart.
Imagine some aliens step into earth, and threaten to destroy humanity... I bet our racial bias will die immediately and we will align since a common enemy has been formed.
Instead of saying white people enslaved blacks, let's say some people with poor understanding of humanity sold their sibling to some people with poor understanding of humanity... It can happen to any, or don't you know Egypt (Blacks) once enslaved people too... I speak to my fellow african And African Americans, if we don't get over this, we may inherit scars from the past... And to my European siblings, if you don't get over this you might inherit guilt.
Let's move on... Let's stop the scapegoating.
Anyways... Let's learn to see beyond our groups, let's see us in others. Let's see oneness.

Fact about Nigeria.
Nigeria is a country located in West Africa. The official name of the country is the Federal Republic of Nigeria: Colonized by Britain; She was once a separate nation, afro Asians(north) and Niger Congo(south).
The north had it's own flag lion skin, while the south had leopard skin, this was due to the battle of honour, lions are not found in the forest(the south has thick forest), so ancient Hunter's who kill the "king of the jungle(leopard)" were highly respected... While the north were lions...This two groups had ancient rivalry, (most western world have a one sided idea of racism, they think it skin colour; whereas they are multiple black race and different belief system)... She was also a major centre for slave trade, Yoruba, Fulani and Igbo's are ancestral tribes to most African American today.
She was later amalgamated by the wife of one of Her colonial master(lord laggard)... After her independence, on this day 1960... At age 6 the country experience chaos, it was almost split in two... It's taking decades for these two north and south to get along(they are gradually united than ever, today)... Today the country has a population of 188,462,640 people, making it the 7th most populous country in the world and most populous black nation. In terms of area, it is the 32nd largest country at 356,669 square miles.
As a result, there are over 500 languages spoken in Nigeria, there still remain some major languages in states. Hausa, Urhobo, Fulani, ijaw, itsekiri, igala, tiv, Igbo, Yoruba, Ibibio, mangu, Edo, and Kanuri have most of the speakers in Nigerian states.
Nigeria has so many resources, if mentioned one would wonder why its not among the best economies in the world... Our major resource are the youth, Nigerians are one the smartest group of people in the world... I know you know . both positively and negatively, Nigerians are extremely smart.
OK... Enough with all the story.
At the end of it all, borders do not exist, race do not exist... What exist is people, people forcing all these things to exist.

Slowly and steadily,I lifted the spoon paused for few more seconds to stare in admiration before scooping some of the rice into the spoon .
Even when I have had the rice in my spoon I still had to pause again before I took it in.
When it touched my tongue ,
the feeling,
the satisfaction,
I didn't know when I closed my eyes because I have gone to cloud nine .
I exhaled deeply and thanked my creator for always providing food.
My cum face couldn't help but show.

What is life without a proper Nigerian jollof , a well spiced and fried chicken, some plantains and a bottle of chilled coke to wrap up the speech?
I continued eating my legendary jollof till I finished the last grain.

Wrong definition of love by many ladies
When you ask some ladies to tell you how sure they are that their boyfriends/fiances truly love them, these are the things many of them use as measuring rods for love from their dating partners.
1. SPARE KEY:
Some ladies think, once they have a spare key to the room of their boyfriends, it means the guys are crazy in love with them. Dear lady, receive sense in Jesus name! Don't you know that a guy can spread his spare keys among many ladies? You have his spare key with you but you must notify him before coming to his house. Hummmmm, you are not thinking well. I know a guy who gave his girl friend a spare key and she never met any other lady in his apartment and she does not need to call him before coming, yet this guy was double dating. It was later discovered he won't bring the other lady to his house. They always meet in his friend's house for sex and all that. It was when it was discovered that he impregnated the lady that has no spare key to his house that they one with spare key went to throw his key into the sea. Wake up lady! Spare key might not spare you from experiencing heart break from a guy that does not love you.
2: SWEET WORDS:
Ladies generally are words freak. Soft words can soften the heart of many lady and make them cringe in excitement over a guy. Many guys are good in using words to deceive many ladies into thinking they love them. Precious ladies, remember the devil had sweet words with Eve ,still, at the end of every thing, she still lost the garden. Don't be carried away when that your guy start using his oratory prowess and power to sweep you off your feet. Love is a verb (action) , not just a verbal expression.
3: SEX :
Many ladies think that a great sex is equal to a great love. So many ladies think the more they give sex, the more the guy enjoys it, the more he will love them. A guy can be having sex with you 24/7, yet his heart is far from you, only his body is with you. Never think you can use your vagina to buy love because that's the only currency many ladies use today to purchase love. Apart from your breasts and bumbum, what do you have to offer in a relationship? Different styles of sex you do with a guy can not guarantee his love for you. Some of you are reading this, there was no sex style you did not practice with your Ex, yet, two of you are no more together. If sex guarantees love, may be that guy should still be with you. Any guy asking you to prove your love for him through sex is simply in lust with you, not in love.
4: SOFT FACE:
Some guys have tender face. Soft face and they can smile or laugh for the whole world. My sister, the real person is not on the face. Some have soft face but hard heart, hard character, hard mentality, etc. If you think he loves you because he smiles easily and his face looks cool and soft, I pity you. A guy with soft face can make life hard for you if the soft face is what you call love.
5: SOCIAL MEDIA DISPLAY OF LOVE :
Yes, I love social media display of love. I do it a lot. It strengthens love and make relationship a role model for other. Yet, it is not a proof of love. The fact that the guy post your pictures on all social media does not mean he truly loves you. The fact that he uses you as his dp, profile picture, screen saver, does not mean you are safe in his hand. Love is good when he displays it for you on social media platforms, but still check to be sure it a real love.
Take that love to the laboratory and test it!!!.

I felt his eyes on me, cold, observant, scruntinizing my every move. I had to say something.
"I am fine, sir. And you?"
He stepped into the room, his huge frame making me look so small, so insignificant.
Caro get mind o. How she take dey collect this man -
"- The socket, how much is it?" He asked, totally ignoring my greeting.
Wait, what?
I was going to make money from this? Is God not wonderful?
"Well, sir, the price is-"
"Mike, my name is Mike."
"Okay sir… Mike, 1k should be enough."
"It's even cheap."
"Yes sir, it's a minor thing."
He removed two, one thousand naira note from his pockets and gave it to me.
"Take this money, and fix the… what did you say you wanted to fix on the socket again?"
"We will just fix the whole… the whole socket. Sir." I struggled to hide the excitement in my voice.
Meanwhile, my heart was leaping with joy. I imagined the look of awe that would be on my friends' face when I narrate to them how I went to a girls house, got caught by her soldier boyfriend and still managed to collect 2k from him.

#TakeNote, avoid these kinds of relationships
1. You should avoid a relationship that is based on sex alone. It has no future. If all you do is to sleep with each other instead of
discussing things that will benefit your life then that relationship is a waste of time and destiny.
2. Avoid any relationship that has no direction, purpose or aim.
3. Avoid any relationship that doesn't add any positive impact on your life.
4. Run away from any relationship that gives you more sorrows than joy.
5. Run away from any relationship that makes you cry or gives you more tears and cry than laughter.
6. Do not stay in a relationship where you love someone but the person makes you unhappy many times.
7. When you see signs that a relationship can't work, don't try to make it work. IT JUST CAN'T WORK. There is no need remaining in such r/shp. Flee from it.
8. Avoid any relationship where you find yourself struggling to love your partner.
9. Avoid any relationship where you are caged or restricted from enjoying your basic fundamental human rights. No relationship should restrict you from your
rights, not even marriage.

Weird But Important Skills a Man Should Learn Before Marriage
On our way out I noticed her bra strap was popping out of her beautiful dress and I called her attention to it. The only way I could have known that it was not right for her bra to pop out of her dress is because I know how ladies wear that kind of dress.
"Don't you have a tube?" I asked. Because i know the best way to wear the dress is with a tube bra that doesn't come with a strap (I can't remember what it's called )
Uhmmm what do we do about it now? Okay hold on let me pin the strap to the dress and hide it. So I got a pin and handled that department very well like I have done it before . Or maybe I have, remember those times as little boys when Mom will call us to help her zip up her dress, or hook her bra strap behind. Hehehe, we had no idea we were very good rehearsals for marriage. Sometimes mom will give us her eye pencil to go and sharpen. I remember when my mama used to give me her wig to brush. Those times I used to think, "what? I am not a girl". But far from being of help to her it was a training in disguise. For the brothers that didn't experience this I don't envy you at all.
Okay so I handled her bra strap popping out with a pin like a pro and I saw the happy, impressed look in her eyes. Before then she asked me if I can cross her bra behind to make it look like a design, I said "yea, i can even zigzag the bra behind if you want." Dont try me, I'm a bra expert
Guys, I just want to share some VERY weird but necessary skills you need to learn to be a great help to your wife as you walk towards marriage.
#1... Learn some simple bra hacks, like me, a pro.
learn to cross multiply a bra . These are things the Bible won't tell you but i know the Lord approves of this knowledge. Most men do not even know how to hook and unhook a bra, that's very bad bro. I think it's the first thing you should know how to do as a husband .
#2... Learn how to sharpen an eye pencil. This is not like the normal pencil you used to sharpen in nursery school with a sharpener. This one requires some extra professionalism. Learn it, its very key. When you're running late to go out your wife cannot be applying makeup and looking for how to sharpen her eye pencil at the same time, you can collect it and help her out to save your own time .
#3... Learn how to wash a woman's panties. Listen don't make your face, there is nothing nasty or unscriptural about this. Don't let our culture mess you up. TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH - including washing panties and boxers. Your heavily pregnant or nursing wife will not have the strength to do her business herself most of the time. She will just soak it in the bathroom and leave it there, and you cannot be walking pass it when you can easily bend down and help her out. And mind you, they don't wash a women's panties the same way men wash boxers like a sponge. The same hands that removes it can also be washing it sometimes. Learn it.
#4... Learn how to style a woman's hair, or at least simple ways to pack it. Some of us are just zero in this department, we cannot help a woman pack her hair and ribbon it. This comes in very handy in marriage, when your wife will turn to you and say "baby please help me use this ribbon to pack my hair." You'll just be there looking, your own is how to scatter it when you want to disturb someone's daughter.
#5... Learn how to fold women's clothes. So very important too. Well, some men are not even interested in helping their wives wash Or iron their dress, let alone interested in folding and arranging. Women are not the only natural arrangers of the home, men can be too. Learn how to fold a dress neatly. It's important.
#6... Learn how to tie a scalf. This one is ultimately important uncle. You cannot survive your wive's disturbance in marriage if you don't know how to tie a simple hair tie. Women can worry with this, "honey hold it here, roll it there, pin the gele here, shock it in here." It can be very tiring, yet so much fun. So start openning yourself up to it.
Footnote: these things can be learnt over the internet. Sometimes when I am scrolling through my news feed I see videos teaching how to apply foundation, simple bra hacks, zip hacks, how to tie a quick scalf, etc. And I take my time to watch and learn from them. I put in the effort, because I want to be an help meet to my wife too. Sometime I tag my bestie to it. Note like you must go practice with a woman first, the internet is a wide library of resource.

The Friend(ship) that slowly died
Today, I received some bad news,
About the passing on of a dear friend.
I feel ashamed to call my friend dear,
Because I saw my friend slowly die and I did nothing.
It began some time back, when I noticed my friend stopped smiling.
Though I noticed, I never asked what was wrong.
We live in a day and age of everyone minding their own business.
My friend's well being should be my business.
Then I noticed my friend disappearing online.
My friend stopped posting, was nowhere on social media.
I never bothered to ask why,
I was busy connecting with those who are active.
Then my friend stopped coming to worship,
We used to sit together during prayers.
I never followed up why the absence.
"I don't beg people to come to worship" I thought.
Then I started hearing stories about my friend,
In fact, I ganged up with others to gossip about my friend.
We gossiped as if we are experts of how my friend should live,
I gossiped, instead of reaching out.
When I scrolled through my phone book list,
I passed my friend's contact.
I waited for my friend to speak to me first,
Knowing very well my friend seemed to be going through something.
When my friend did call, I ignored.
I failed to reply the messages, too busy.
Or maybe I thought my friend was calling to ask me for money,
Based on the gossip I was told.
I used to pray for my friend,
But slowly I stopped.
It appears that out of sight,
Out of prayers.
Then today, I get to learn my friend has died.
My friend all along was struggling, feeling alone,
Yet all I did was nothing and make assumptions.
My friend was stressed, depressed then committed suicide.
Here I am asked to give a speech at the funeral,
Yet the tears I cry are for how I failed my friend when my friend was still living.
My friend is not coming back for me to love better,
Maybe if I cared things would have turned out different.
Look back and see the friends you have pushed away, ignored or taken for granted.
Call them, reach out to them.
It's better late than never.
Student is not an occupation
I've seen many students write in their bio or any form of introduction to be student as their occupation.
First, what is an occupation?
****Occupation is the principal activity in your life, that you do to earn money.
Definition problem is settled
Now, what stage should you add occupation to your data?
The stage at which you earn money from something. It may be business, skill or white collar jobs.
That one also is being solved
Now, back to my point.
When adding occupation to your bio or in an introductory write up, you mean to tell us what you are currently doing to make money.
Being a student, we don't know your discipline, you don't have a certificate yet, you are still learning, not yet graduated.
Also, many students have what they earn from e.g
Make-up Artistry, Photography, Graphics designing, Stand up comedy, Fashion designer, Selling of things, etc..
Like, if you are a student, not yet earning, except for your pocket money, occupation shouldn't be in your bio.
You can just add, I am Ahmad Abdul, a student at Federal University of Technology, currently doing my Bsc Program in the department of Computer Science.
That's all.
But if you're a student, earning from a skill or selling stuffs, occupation is for you.
Example
Name: Ahmad Abdul Sex: male Location : Bauchi state. Occupation : Copywriter and a Affiliate Marketer. If you sell things, you add what you sell
When adding your occupation, you should have it in mind that someone may want to hire me or buy things from me
Being a student is not an occupation, it's a preparation for occupation.
Whose pace are you adjusting to
Have you ever taken a walk with someone? Maybe you haven't, but have you ever seen two persons taking a walk or strolling down the street? What do you observe? It's either they are walking at the same pace or one person is always trying to catch up with the other.
Do you know that it's the same way in life? Do you know that most of the tines we think we are actually walking with people, all we do is trying to catch up with them?
I shared a post yesterday on the need to do things differently if we must experience a better and result filled second half of the year. I believe that one of the areas I think we should also look into is our circle.
As much as our internal circle is important, the people we surround ourselves with are also a major factor in our journey of success.
As a Writer and Trainer, I consciously surround myself with people who are either going to where I am going or those who will help me get there faster, smarter, and safer.
You may see it as being selfish, but every successful man knows the importance of keeping the right company.
I don't know the people that you have surrounded yourself with, but it's important that you understand that no relationship leaves us the way they met us.
Every relationship will either add to you, take away from you, multiply you, or break you into pieces.
To think that you are not or will not be influenced by the people you spend time with will be naive.
As a writer, I spend time with other writers, especially those who have been to where I want to be. Either online or offline, I am conscious of the impact my relationships are having on me.
I am always concerned about what I am giving, but much more importantly is who I'm becoming.
If you don't want to end the second half just like the first one, you must be conscious of who you are spending your time with.
It's okay to say God forbid, it doesn't change the fact that you have your own role to play.
It's time to reevaluate yourself. It's time to look inwards if you must make the requisite changes.
It's time to ask yourself, whose pace am I adjusting to? Let me know the changes you have decided to make.

Everyone is not your customer.
I repeat, everyone is not your customer.
Not even your friends and family members.
They may patronise you out of pity.
They may patronise you to identify with you.
They may patronise you so that you do not carry their matter to family meeting.
But in the long run, they are not your ideal customer.
No hard feelings!
That's just the way it is.
And the earlier you come to terms with this, the more profitable it will be for you.
Let's face it, not everyone is on the MTN network. Some will swear by the GLO network anyday anytime.
Not everyone likes Coca-cola. Some people prefer to drink kunu or zobo.

Relevance
As an individual, being relevant globally should be your daily goal.
Relevance is deeper than it appears; it takes a lot of pain to achieve the gain of relevance.
The word RELEVANCE cuts across all niches.
Though it is a nine - letters word, but the word is deep and powerful than it appears.
The pen you use at all time wouldn't have come your way if it wasn't relevant to your achievements.
As an individual, you need to be relevant before you can be recognized. Relevance brings Recognition. However, being relevant isn't a day's job, it takes cultivation to achieve that, just like a Farmer does with his land.
A Farmer takes the pain and time to cultivate the ground; there is the: clearing stage (the farmer clears the grass), planting stage (here is when the Farmer buries his crop into the soil), weeding stage (this is the removal of the grass that tends to hinder the effective growth of the crop).
The aforementioned are some of the stages a Farmer goes through before the land becomes relevant to supplying his needs.
After the clearing of grass, the land is half relevant because at that level it becomes beautiful to every eye that beholds it. But then, what is its beauty if doesn't meet the Farmer's needs? Its beauty isn't relevant to the Farmer.
There are stages to follow through on the path to relevance, though, it takes long to get there but then, half relevance is no relevance at all. Hence, don't serve the world with your half - baked cake because it will mar your reputation.
The land needs to be cultivated to the point that it will start bringing forth fruits; this is your joy - results, this will be a great beauty to eyes that behold it.
What would have happened if no one had taken the pain to cultivate the land? I bet you know the answer.
Likewise, for you as a person to be relevant in life, you need to go through the cultivating process; the silent pains, the groaning, the investment e.t.c. just like the Farmer does before finally harvesting.
Mind you, no one will recognize you when you are still at the unpolished stage, just like the Farmer's land in the above illustration was before cultivation.
Not until you walk/work your way through, no one will recognize you. I mean with hard work and not with the ideology of "using what you have to get what you want" (this refers to some people). Though, you can use your pen to get what you want but please, don't get it twisted. Don't misunderstand me!
Not until you start bearing fruits (results) for others to see, no one will count you relevant. I'm not talking you showing off your results.
Not until you remove those stones on your path to greatness, and finally become successful, no one will see you as being a relevant fellow either to your family, society and the nation at large.
Hence, to be relevant is not a day's job.

No matter what type of web-writing project you take on, you can increase the value of what you offer by providing an SEO component.
Search Engine Optimization helps search engines like Google serve your copy up to interested searchers. Two things are key: providing valuable copy that is relevant to your audience and including the “signals” to search engines that help them recognize who your copy is meant for.
The goal of SEO copy is to:

To rank better on search engines …
The first key of good SEO copy is relevance. If you stuff your site or your client’s site with page after page of subpar copy, even if it ranks well on search engines (and Google’s Panda update has pretty much seen to it that it won’t), you’ve still failed because you won’t hold an audience. Always write high-quality copy that provides value to your audience.
The second key of good SEO copy is clarity. This is how you communicate to both your visitors and search engines what your copy is about. This typically boils down to well-chosen and well-placed key phrases and well-written titles and headlines.
A third key is community. People find good content through other websites as often as they find it through a search engine. And search engines use links from reputable sites to find and rank content as well. You must link to other relevant sites and create quality content that other sites will be willing to link to. Within your website, you must also have internal links that help people and search engines see what your site is all about and to decide what is most important within your site.
Successful SEO Copy
Because all Internet copy can be improved when you optimize it for search, there’s not a specific structure for SEO copy. The structure comes from the specific type of
copy you’re writing — blog posts, category pages, special report, press releases, articles … what-have-you.
But there are consistent steps you should take to optimize your content.
Well-Researched Key Phrases: Choosing topics that your audience is looking for is the first step. You can figure that out by knowing your audience, understanding the website and the associated products, services, or goals, and then doing some keyword research.
Google has a free keyword research tool (type “keyword tool” into your Google search field and you’ll find it).
The Google Keyword Tool is a good place to start. But its results are based on AdWords keywords, their Pay-Per-Click advertising program. So it’s a good idea to round out your research with a subscription keyword tool like Wordtracker or WordStream.
When doing your keyword research, begin with broad terms that a lot of people would search for. These are likely highly competitive terms that will be difficult to rank high for, but your keyword tool will provide you a variety of related terms and you may find some popular searches that aren’t very competitive and that you can use to build a content topic list.
Page Title: The page title is not the headline. It’s the title that appears at the very top of your browser window. It’s one of the places that search engines look to see what your page is about. It may also be the headline that appears for your page in search engine results. This isn’t always the case, but it happens enough that you want to make your page title as relevant and useful as possible to your potential visitors.
Meta Description: Another important place to use your keyword is in the Meta description. This is a brief 140 to 160-character description of the page in question. Search engines check it for keywords, as well. And many search engines will display it as the site description on the search engine results page. Again that means that you have to write the description for your potential visitors first and foremost. What will help them make the decision to click through to your site? But also include your most important keyword phrase so that search engines can identify the topic of your page.
H1 Tags: The headline of your web page, blog post, press release, or article is another place search engines look for your keyword phrases. Again, write this primarily for your potential readers, but work the keyword phrase in if you can do it naturally and without hurting the impact of the headline.
Body Copy: Your keyword phrase should appear at least once in the first two or three paragraphs of your web page’s body copy. It’s also helpful to use the keyword phrase in subheads.
Links: A final element to consider are links. Google likes to see web pages that link internally to other relevant content on the same website and that also link to other websites completely. Other websites linking to your content is also important for SEO results, so look for ways to make your content shareable.
Google and other search engines work hard to return high-quality, relevant content in their results pages. So above all, WRITE GOOD CONTENT!

Tip: Part of a good SEO strategy is understanding who you are trying to reach. Really dig deep with your client on this one. Ask about what other websites the audience is likely to spend time on, what their hobbies are, what age group they’re in, how much money they make, and what problems they have that the website will help to solve.

Tip: Understanding what’s working is an important part of implementing your strategy. Study the pages and keywords that are ranking and see what’s being done right. Your first step will be to implement those same steps on lower performing pages.

Another good place to do research is on competitors’ websites. You can learn a lot from the type of keywords they are optimizing for. You might also see some gaps that could prove very useful in your own content development strategy.

Here is an analogy to this statement:
I am going to use the example of the best storyteller ever lived(arguably)
He wanted to tell his followers about his Kingdom then he likened it to that of a mustard seed.

"He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a MUSTARD seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full-grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branch" Mathew 13 vs 31-32.
Now, see this:
“Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain..." Mathew 17 vs 20.
Connecting the two stories, you will see that his followers had an understanding of what a mustard seed is. Then he used it to teach them the concept of faith(he used their KNOWN to explain their UNKNOWN) that is what it is.
Everyone is in the business of persuading(directly or indirectly) and to be a good persuader, you must be a good storyteller.
Stories well told keeps the audience around.

How Is Power Divided In The United States of America
Have you ever wondered who make laws and who has the authority to punish those who break them in the US government?
When we think of power in the united state, we usually think of the president but he does not act alone; in fact, he is only one piece of the power puzzle and for very good reason.
When the American Revolution ended in 1783, the United State government was in a state of change. The founding fathers knew that they did not want to establish another country that was ruled by a king. So discussions were set about having a strong and fair national government that protected individual freedom and did not abuse its power.
When the new constitution was adopted in 1787, the structure of the infant Government of the united state called for 3 separate branches, each with their own powers and a system of checks and balances; this will ensure that no one branch ever becomes too powerful because the other branches would always be able to check the power of the other too. These branches work together to run the country and set the guidelines for the citizens to live by:
1. The legislative.
The legislative branch is described in article 1 in the US constitution. Many people feared that the founding fathers put this branch in the document first because they thought it was the most important. The legislative branch is comprised of 100 US senators, 435 members in the US House of Representatives, this is better known as the US congress. Making laws is the primary function of the legislative branch, but it is also responsible for approving federal judges and justices, passing the national budget and declaring war. Each state gets 2 senators and some number of representatives depending on how many number of people live in that state.
2. The executive.
The executive branch is described in article 2 of the US constitution. The leaders of this branch of government are the president and the vice president who are responsible for executing the laws that the congress set forth. The president works closely with a group of advisers known as the cabinet. These appointed helpers assist the president in making important decisions within their areas of expertise such as defense, the treasury, and homeland security.
The executive branch also appoints government officials, commends the arm forces and meet with leaders of other nations. All that combined is a lot of work for a lot of people. In fact, the executive branch employs over 4 million people to get everything done.
3. The judicial.
The third branch in the US government is the judicial branch and is detailed in article 3. This branch is comprised of all the courts in the land; from the federal district court, to the US Supreme Court. These courts interpret the nation’s laws and punish those who break them.
The highest court: the supreme court, settles disputes amongst states, hears appeals from state and federal courts, and determines if federal laws are constitutional. There are 9 justices in the supreme court and unlike any other job in the US government, supreme court justices are appointed for live, or for as long as they want to stay.
Democracy depends on informed citizenry, so it is our duty to know how it works and what authority each branch has over its citizens. Besides voting, chances are that sometime in your live you’ll be called upon to participate in your government; whether it is to serve in the jury, to testify in court, or participate in any other constitutional matter. By knowing the branches, who runs them and how they work together, you can be involved, informed and intelligent.

Hi everyone. My name is Godwin, I'm from Nigeria, I speak, English, Igbo and French and intend learning more foreign languages. I'm a mechanical engineering student studying at Federal University of Petroleum Resources, warri, Nigeria and should be graduating 2 (-3 because of the lockdown) years from now.
I started from being a great lover of stories as a kid, in some cultures here in Nigeria, story telling is very typical and always a thrill to look forward to. No, not bed time stories haha...hmm we can talk privately for details or I'll just make it my next article lol. Then I began to love telling stories too and became really good at it, that at a time, every other kid just wanted to listen to me tell stories as many as possible that I always ran out of passed down stories. But that 10 years old me would never allow himself disappoint anyone, so I would immediately form stories based on some movies I saw and some things I saw and even the things I wished for and it turned out I enjoyed telling my own stories more.
When I got to highschool, I began to find interest in poems and articles...they became my new thing, because I'd write down an article at every single spare time I got. I had a girlfriend because of my articles some time in school.
Something happened to that craftsmanship I developed anyways. In Nigeria, getting into college/University is always big deal and the good schools fiercely competitive to get a slot. I soon forgot about writing to focus on reading, until I got to the university, met some writers and then remembered I used to be good at this. Although I still find it difficult to write articles or poems that I'll love, but I've decided brush up that skill again and this platform is a great opportunity to challenge myself. Merci!
My Journey Through Deconstruction
Ever been in that stage when you question everything you ever believed in? This is pretty much the hardest place to be in your faith work because now you barely know what you believe and are ready to believe only what you know.
Deconstruction is an important phase in one's faith journey however, as coming out of it reveals a more independent believer who no longer have believes that he has no clue why he believes them. Such a person literally becomes a "knower" and will become a really good sound teacher of whatever he now knows. However there is danger in staying too long in that phase, or not coming out at all of it.
I am a Christian, and in my late teenage years I began to ask serious questions about the Christian faith and the whole idea of life. Who really is God and why does it seem he is both good and evil but you tell me he is pure love?
It wasn't just curiosity; I had a lot of sad experiences that year. I began to self isolate from church folks and wanted a distraction. I was in this sadness when I stumbled into some new age ideas. They seemed pretty cool and comforting that I believed I found my answers in them. I met some other people in Deconstruction like me too who we believed in this new found focus together. The Bible became to me one of the many sources of history knowledge and I felt fulfilled. Wherever the Bible was not adding up, then a new age idea. but occasionally I would get depressed so bad that I really wanted to die.
I soon discovered that when Jesus said the truth sets free, he meant it. It was 6 mounts into deconstruction that I went, at which time I got my ideas from just about any place. But when I decided to believe only in God's words and not think about the things I couldn't not understand, I found me a peace no one could provide.
Call it guilt, but I could have remained a deconstructing Christian who finds no way ahead, however I discovered that while it is good to demand answers, deconstruction is not the place to remain, because eventually, everyone is going to have believes. What happens your only believe becomes you don't know what to believe?
