Since most of us if not all are holding or hodling cryptocurrency or shitcoins let us talk about the significance of the following:

  • SELF DISCIPLINE

  • PRINCIPLE

  • TECHNIQUE to avoid IMPULSIVE BUYING

I am hopeful that this would help my readers to realize how important are these to to hodl for the future. Especially for those who are struggling with stopping themselves from buying things online and those that are bombarded by other people asking them to buy this and that.

SELF DISCIPLINE

In order for you to hold your coins have you ever noticed that you got that feeling stopping you from cashing out your coins and profit especially when its BULL SEASON? Especially whenever you see a dress, a shirt or anything that makes you WANT to buy it you have to close your eyes in order to "hold your horses" tight enough so to avoid that urge to convert your BCH to your fiat.

Congratulations you have that so called, "SELF-DISCIPLINE". I am proud of you! Now see the fruit of that discipline by just simply lookin at your balance. Isn't that worth it? That you reached that because you control and discipline yourself not to rush on buying things and instead wait for payday.

Please do not get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with spoiling yourself but you have to make sure you have something reserved when rain comes.

TECHNIQUE to avoid IMPULSIVE BUYING

Now here's a technique that I want to share. Everytime I want something or whenever I browse on an online store and see something lovely I just add it to my cart. Yep, especially when I am stress.(LOL!)

Then I will wait for 15 days before I check those that I've added to cart and see if those are really valuable. Oftentimes, I will realize it isn't needed so I would just delete and clean up my cart and close the application. Or try to look for another items and wait again for 15 days. Cycle is just like that.

Now if you ask, Glez what if through physical store?

So, sometimes if I am stress I would travel going to COLON that's where our markets are located and I am a fan of CHEAP products. You can't see me strolling in a MALL because most if not all of the products listed there are overprice. Of course except for those who give us great quality but I could only count on my fingers how many of those labelled as "BRANDED" really gives their consumers the best quality products. And mind you, you can actually see the same quality when going to markets that displays cheap products that is if you are a fan of strolling around, window shopping and searching for suppliers.

Now if I got attracted to something I would tell myself I would go back to buy it and just before I could even go back I forget or sometimes realize that it is not that useful and is a waste of money. Because if its something needed I would buy it right away or maybe save for it.

PRINCIPLE

We have different principles. Yours might or might not coincide to mine so if you don't agree with this I respect that but do respect mine as well.

Here it is, for me if I receive an increase, get promoted or any monetary value that can be added to my income I want my way of living to STAY THE SAME.

Here's to better explain it.

If you can't live without aircon, I can.

If you can't live without ridin on a car, dude I live my life commuting and I won't mind doin so for the rest of my life. (LOL!) Cars are like humans or even worst because its maintenance is way expensive.

So for me, if you can live without something then don't buy it.

There may be cases that you have to treat yourself yes but not too much that could turn you from riches to rags which means makes you broke.

Imagine, if you would pursue buying an aircondition you have to add up more to your electric bill budget.

If you buy a car or be it on installment you gotta make sure you can maintain it. Car wash, have it checked and etc. That is an additional burden and for what? For a lil increase?

Sometimes we thought we have to level up our ways of living because some people advise you to buy this and that but we have to always be mindful if we can support that upgrade as a whole.

Remember: the goal is to be RICH not to LOOK RICH.

Second thing, if I can still use a certain device then why should I buy a new one?

I am using VIVO Y91C for almost 2 years I guess and I still love it. My previous phone has been passed to my brother down to my sister and now with my mother while the older phone that I got from my partner is now being used by my daughter battery is defective though. Now if you ask, why did I bought the vivo if I still have my old phones? Only because of WORK.

When we started working at home I got to upgrade my phone for a better memory coz we gotta install some applications like Zoom, teams, and etc. My old phones can't manage to download those and work is lifer than my principle. (HAHA!)

Last but not the least, LEARN TO SAY NO.

  • Vices

  • Peer pressure or any pressure from anyone

So there! I hope this helps. Especially to those who are easily defeated by the temptation of buying.
