Humans Let Us Do Something

Last article I talked about the Typhoon Agathon which caused landslide, chaos in Baybay Leyte Philippines. As of this writing a lot of people were buried alive on that landslide are still not saved nor found. Even the son of the President of the biggest University of Baybay Leyte is still missing.

There are also a lot of videos and awareness being shared on Facebook. One that caught my attention was the Scientists who were having a rally and was arrested. The rally has got something to do with them informing the public that we need to do something to save our planet but then, they were not heard.

SPREADING AWARENESS !!!

Scientists are now getting aRr#$TEd and getting desperate. We need to save the earth now!!! According to them, we only have 4-5 years. LET THE EARTH BREATH.

What else can we do?

Discipline should start at our own home. If you are a parent teach your child not to throw their trash just anywhere and do what you preach.

So as early as now they will get used to doing what is right. Make them aware of WIFM (WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?).

Let us MAKE IT A HABIT to care for our planet as we do so it would be a lot easier for us to do our responsibility. We were not able to start early but we have to START NOW while WE CAN.

At the end of the day all of us will suffer if we do not do anything.

As a mom, I wish for my child to enjoy nature when they grow up. It is very different when you get to have a vacation away from the busy buzz of the city.

I remembered, when I was in Elementary I have this Teacher in our T.L.E (Technology and Livelihood Education) subject who mentioned that when you feel stress, try going to your garden or near a plant and shake your hands in front of it. She said that it will lessen that stress feeling, she added, especially when you see some green plants or trees around.

That has been my routine since I started working. My mom has plants all over our house especially flowers so whenever it is my end of shift its my usual thing to take a look at outside the window or even just walk around. At times I also talk to the plants as I believe they are living things.

In addition, we can also start supporting companies who launches programs, projects and the likes related to saving mother earth. To give you an example here's GCASH!

Hoping that everyone will take it seriously. We have to do something while it is not the end or else it will be the end of us.
