When we care

It another beautiful day today,thank goodness for that and I hope everyone is having a happy day. Mine has been a bag of chips and water 😂. I mean that; today frowns and smiles back to me at same time. A Saturday and a weekend that people pray for to take a rest and have pretty time for themselves has come to me with chips and water. Anyway, let assume that someday's are like that.

Happy weekend lovelies 😘! January on its countdown and a Saturday that I can't tell cared for me, or I cared for. It has been a day for me in person and I feel good writing today on read.

There's something that needs to be addressed in our society, starting from us; myself and yourself! This is a little and common attitude that some people do. It looks small and unnoticed though but ; a desert got burnt from lighting a spot.

This attitude in question is the "I DON'T CARE ATTITUDE" and that brings the topic, "WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE CARE?"

We all in one way or the other, have shown a concern about something, we must have cared for maybe someone in a situation or something else. This is really good.in the same way, we have been cared for maybe in our difficult times or even good times. The feeling is always cool and welcoming.

It is always good for one to mind his /her business but what happens when everyone cared for themselves and mind only their business? Maybe there will be no mutual relationship anymore as I don't care for you and about you.

In this life we live in, there's a division of work. Everyone does different things, different works and roles played, all to achieve a positive contribution and keep life moving. In production for example, there are people who gets the raw materials ready, some people make and see the process through while others package the products and hands over to the distributors.

The same way in our towns and community, there are people who sees about the drainage, people who sees about the water ways and other things in places, just like in my school now. When students consumes a drink and throws the can not inside the waste bin but on the floor, saying that there are people who's job are to clean the environment and doesn't care about the consequences of that action blocking the drainage system.

This happened today again at my sight and When I asked him again after he said he doesn't care that the sanitation department will do their job "what about if everyone does the same, what do you think will happen when we all throw solid wastes like leathers, waterproof, cans like you did now on the floor and water ways? He answered sincerely that the drainage will suffer it because it will fill up.

At this point in time, he realized his misdeed and corrected himself. Kudos for me!🤗

Often, when I travel back to my city, I see blocked drainages, and water flowing on the road instead of its channel. I asked myself what the problem could be because there are provisions for dumping of refuse but the people are not making use of it. The funny part now is that, we suffer the consequences of our I don't care attitude sometimes. After a heavy rain, the waterways get filled up and flows on the road, from the road, it enters through our houses and causes flood. We all know what flood looks like and how ugly it tastes!

Who cares to use the waste bin? Who cares what consequences we might face? Who cares for the result of our actions? .. it is us. We must show that concern. We must care to let things go well as they should be.

Today in my school was pronounced a clean up Saturday. A day of cleaning is somewhat tough on me because I might be cleaning a drainage I didn't have a hand in its blockage. But whatever, I am not doing the work alone.

We use to have cleaners in my school, but sometimes, the students are allowed to perform this exercise and have the experience, at least to have a bit of their Choco 😂. No one escapes it. We are allowed to clean up our rooms and corridors, dust everywhere and remove weeds if seen in the garden. It a nice experience but not when I am to pack out dirt's from the drainage. I feel like I am being punished.

We must also care for ourselves and others because we need someone and like the saying goes; "everyone needs somebody" let do that which is right and allow the juice run on its right places.
