Jolly and Tella

On a Friday evening at one of the biggest conventions in town, a gunshot was heard from a close distance in the middle of the event. This caused a serious panic among the guests in the event. The police officers were raiding the city, while other minority forces were scattered around the building for maximum security. There was no reason for the gunshot only if it was a terror attack. The hall was filled up with guests and had crowds outside the doors of the building. Tella was right there with her friends but was so scared of the situation. She is a young reporter that has just started her profession.

She is in her early twenties and is living her single life with ease and happiness waiting for her right man to come. That day was her first coverage of a bigger event and she was happy to be doing what she had dreamed about.

Earlier that morning, she had called her best friend and colleagues Jolly, they spoke about the event and personalities that would be present in the event including the celebrities and entertainers. They were fully prepared and waiting for the hour to come. They finally got ready and took a ride downtown where the event will be held. They had arrived so early to cover every single thing they wished. They were the first to be there and bad their bags of expectations in their mind.

Soon the event will begin and the large building starts forming a crowd.

They already took pictures of the empty environment the first time they arrived. They took pictures of the art works around the building, the trees and flowers too, just to test their coverage tools and set them up for work.

The event has begun and young reporters are ready for coverage. Tella was on stage with her camera doing her dream job. She was amidst the VIP's and that's a never forgetting experience for her. The event was going well until gunshots were heard from a close distance.

This caught the audience's attention and made them panic. Some of the VIP guests started seeking a safer place to stay. They might have thought of their enemy coming after them. As these things were happening, Tella's heart started skipping. It was her first event coverage and now it's turning into a disaster. She kept calm and was wondering what would happen in the next second. Just a few minutes after they heard the gunshots, another series of gunshots was heard just outside the building and by this time, everyone got scared and was moving to the shelter and safe side of the building.

Jolly was still there on the stage making her coverage with confidence, she was scared of the situation but remained there to cover what was happening. Tella was already scared and pleading with Jolly to let go of her coverage and seek shelter but she insisted. In a couple of minutes, the panic was over and everywhere was quiet again. After taking the audience a longer time to assemble again, half of the people were seen occupying their positions. When the lights were restored and the event was about to reopen, it was discovered that a diamond which was the reason for that event was nowhere to be found...

What has happened to it posed a big question to the whole city. Everyone was curious and anxious about what happened and how it happened. The gunshots were heard at a far distance from the building and not inside of the building. The only time something would have happened was when the lights went off. Nonone knew nor saw who took the diamond away from the stand because the lights went off. It became a difficult task to find out what happened.

When the alarm was raised, every door was closed and movement restricted, the securities searched and searched but found nothing. Jolly and Tella and other journalists were summoned to check if they might have captured anything suspicious. All the journalists were searched including their cameras but nothing was found.

After a while, Jolly recalled that they had taken pictures on of the surroundings earlier before the event started. They had already deleted the files because they were just testing their working tools and getting them ready for the event. She quickly reminded Tella and they went ahead to retrieve the pictures. They started studying the pictures until they found something suspicious.

It was a man disguised as a woman. Tella's camera captured a little video of the man changing his clothes in the background, while Jolly caught his face in pictures as he wounded his arms as if he had fractured it. There was just only him of his kind in the event, no other person looked familiar with him in disguise.

They reported to security who took fast and accurate measures to identify the man.

It happened that he was among the halve that came back to their seat in the event after the gunshots. He was caught and searched until he revealed where he kept the diamond.

Jolly and Tella were given honors for their smartness and awarded handsomely.
