Lecha saw a fortune in his mind but never knew the percussion of reality. Yes this life is quite simple but not as he thinks. Wake up, pray to your God, go to work, make money and live your dream, That's how the world was designed but what? That's not how it works. The message is the same but the reality is different.

Lecha was born to a rich family where life was fair to him. He grew up in riches and did everything he wanted. He could imagine a car at one minute and in the next minute, he owns it already. Life was just good and his mind confirmed to believe that this is what the world really is. Yes, that's what the world/ life really is but at the same time, that's not what life truly is.

Things gradually start to change, the maids and servants who worked to earn a living by taking care of the house were no more. The people he never thought of having a home now have gone to meet their family and children. Lecha stood and waited for breakfast to be served but there was no one to carry the function. Now it's left for him to serve himself. He should be lucky he has something to eat.

Things began turning south and one time rich kid has to stay rich. He couldn't live poorly even when life showed him the other side of the coin. Yeah he tasted it but it was too bitter and uncomfortable. No he's determined to do everything to maintain his status.

He lived like a king and now is his own servant. What has life done to a child who never knew that the legs are designed for walking. Now he is running around to make a living. He thought for himself; "isn't life so easy, why should I have a luxury and be poor. Let me sell one of those and with that I will make a living"

He sold the first one, second and third but after selling, he squanders everything. Selling is now the only option left as those demons in his mind got him addicted to sell. When half of his wealth remained, the demons in his mind convinced him to sell two more and with the income, he would build back those he already lost. This is what he strongly believes and urges to happen but unfortunately, there is no such reverse psychology.

One question here is that; who would want to eat on a wooden plate while golden plates have been part of your life?

Lecha sold everything he has, all his fortune gone when he was still believing he was making the right decision. Now like a snail, he hides under his shell. He has nothing left and the people he is associated with now are their own people. He comes out with a burden in his heart and smiles like nothing is happening, but deep down the coast isn't clear.

Hello Readlanders, hello actives! My name is Gianna and today I bring you this topic "Drowned my demons; there they learnt to swim". Stay with me as I break it down.

The demon here is "addiction" and lecha played the character.

"I have seen rich people and I have seen poor people. I have also seen rich poor people who later made it and I have seen rich people who went broke. Is wealth really by destiny as most men believe or only by hard work. Money is good but has equal chance of being hereditary or not. Some rich families lose their wealth while some poor ones are living richer"

Personally, if I have ten cents, I will love to multiply it and the process determines my success". Lecha took the wrong decision as many others would gamble with their earnings with hope to multiply it. "It is lazy but sure way" their addiction will tell them. The one more Lecha sold to balance life, the more life balanced him and hit him harder. That one more time could be the demon because he has decided to make the last sale, the last gamble, the last operation, the last breaking of the door and to others; the last stealing. One more cigarette, one more bottle and I'll stop........ That last time decision which after that poor lifestyle will be buried as agreed with the mind tends to be buried as agreed but in there, it grew bigger.

We have an inbuilt passion by nature to be successful but not with our addictions. Stay away from one!
