A throw back Thursday indeed ☺️
February 3rd, 2022
Good day readstars. It another beautiful first Thursday of this new month; February. The week and new month has been good despite the new beginning. It a pleasure to write again
Thursdays are widely known a kidnd marked as a day of remembrance, which is called a throw back day a.d in other words, throw back Thursday. To me, it a day that pours down some buckets of hopes in terms of relief as after Thursday, comes Friday which is weekend. Another lovely time to chill and celebrate.

This Thursday, I visited my room mate's town; Anny. She stays like few kilometers away from school. While in the bus heading for her home town, the song played by the driver was all songs of the 80's and 70's and everyone enjoyed it all except me and my friend. At first, I didn't know it was for the reason of Thursday that all this jazz were playing. The elderly travellers in that bus were all flowing with the vibe and at se point, one of them sing the song as if he were the artist and is in a live stage. It was a great entertainment inside the bus.
These songs are older than some of us in here" said an elderly woman nodding her head to an old song playing.. then another man moved the motion.."yes! I could remember this song was released and trended in my younger age, I guess when I was a teenager"..
all this seemed as the discussion were landing on my Head. Because we were just four teenagers in the bus. What a coincidence!
I loved the song and enjoyed them too but not compared to the current times songs with better effects and sound. But since we had no choice, we have to follow the ride and swim with the tide.. All our journey from start to finish was all old songs and was like a mini- bus party. I loved the experience though.
When we got out of the bus, we were taking a walk downtown to Anny's home, when suddenly I realized some radio channels along the street talking about Thursday and some of them making a throw back request for their callers. At this point, I remembered it was a norm of Thursdays. Throw back all the way till down!
It was more surprising when we got to Anny's home to see her dad singing an old jazz from his radio. What! I exclaimed. Again! "Anny maybe we are missing something about today" and Anny giggles and we laughed over it. We shared the experience at the bus to Anny's dad and he was happy to hear that from us. He further told us his love for old music saying and boasting that those days were when the real songs were made. I personally didn't believe him and will not even tomorrow. Old songs sucks so good but this is new me now. I believe in the present that I am witnessing. Afterall, things are better now compared to those days that music production was more of manual, now we have effects and to any sounds or voice you wish to hear
It throw back Thursday and Anny's dad took us to a local restaurant to eat some local dishes, locally made source and fries I have never tasted before. It was all yummy and I was happy to taste them. We had good times and a walk around the town before getting back to the school. It was indeed a Thursday for me.
Thank your for reading and have a lovely day ahead.

The older you get, then the more you realise that the songs you grew up with are generally than the songs of today. The food in Anny looked great, and glad you had fun on the bus.
