The genre of superheroes is in a very important moment, making great productions that raise extraordinary amounts of money. Well, not for nothing is the highest grossing film in history is one of superheroes.
We have been able to enjoy good movies and see our favorite characters on the big screen. However, some characters have not been able to shine in the cinema either because they have not had a decent movie or simply have not had the opportunity.
I have decided to make a short list of those characters that I would like to see in the cinema and that for some reason, have not had the opportunity or have not done it in the best way.
Flash
I had to start the list with my favorite character. As a child he knew of some superheroes, but had not yet developed a fanaticism for them.
A few years ago I was introduced to this world thanks to The Flash series and since then, it has been my favorite character.
There is already a movie in development on Flash, but it has been delayed several times because the directors resign or the scripts are rewritten. For now it is still in production and it may come in a couple of years.
It is the film that I hope the most.
Green Lantern
A few years ago we had Ryan Reynolds on paper, but the film was not well received by the public. He is one of the main characters in DC and deserves to have a movie to match.
It is incomprehensible that Warner when he started this cinematic universe, has decided not to make a movie about him and then be able to include it in Justice League.
There was a movie on the papers, but now it is known that he will have a series on HBO. It will be a few years before we can see the character again on the big screen.
Hulk
The Hulk is one of the first characters I met from Marvel and perhaps that of most people as well. He's already had some adaptations in the movies, but not one with the quality of Marvel Studios.
The character had a mini plot in Thor: Ragnarok, but it is nowhere near having a movie of his own.
The film rights are Universal and until Marvel recovers them, we will not have a good movie of the green giant in the cinema.
Fantastic Four
I must confess, I'm more interested in watching a movie from this group than one from The Avengers. Fantastic Four was probably the first group I met from Marvel. I grew up with your movies.
The failure of a few years ago unleashed the fury of even the least fanatical, considering the film one of the worst superhero adaptations ever made in film.
Marvel recently recovered the film rights, so it's a matter of time to see a new adaptation of the group and its inclusion with the rest of the characters.
Deathstroke
The list is about the superhero genre and that includes the villains as well.
Green Arrow is another character that I want to see adapted in the cinema, but in order not to make the list longer, I have decided to vary and include Deathstroke. The emotion is the same for watching a movie of both.
Deathstroke is an interesting character and one of the villains I like the most about Batman. He had an adaptation in the Arrow series and in some animated movies.
The character was going to be the main villain in The Batman and would have his own movie, but both will not happen. It is a shame, because it has a lot to offer and it may have been the last opportunity to have a leading role on the big screen.
Conclusion
These are some of the characters that I want to see in the cinema and enjoy good adaptations. Meanwhile, it will be time to enjoy the productions that are on the way until these characters have their chance.
It is very difficult to adapt comics to the cinema, fans only hope that the characters retain their essence and that companies strive to make good movies.
I would like to know what movie you are waiting for or what character you would like to see in the cinema. Do not limit yourself, it can be a superhero, a villain or even a story from the comics.
We need more super heros .. LOL, Just kidding ..
