The previous month was a great one regardless of what my earnings looked like because I was able to meet new people on Read.cash and other platforms under the BCH ecosystem, I learned a lot and was able to share my ideas and opinions with lots of users across the world.
I will use this opportunity to wish everyone a happy new month and I pray that we achieve greater success than we have done in the previous months in 2021.
How would you feel if I told you that you need to quit?
You do be wondering why you need to quit, yes you need to quit running after the impossible especially when it doesn't require hard work from you.
I have met a lot of people who misunderstand the meaning of dreams because they are been blinded by false hopes and addiction. Dreams are ambitions that require lots of things before they can come to reality but today people regardless of their age bracket make dreams that don't require effort which eventually doesn't come through. The funny thing about these impossible dreams takes a lot of funds from the dreamer, they spend more than they will do if they had an appropriate dream.
Life experience.
I had a conversation yesterday with a guy and he narrated how gambling ruined his life. He wanted to be rich but he wasn't ready to work for success, he wanted to use what he has to get what he wants without investing in hard work. We must understand that regardless of how we think of hard work, it is required to be successful and the world has improved to a stage where people now work hard smartly.
After having long chat with him, I made him understood that gambling didn't ruin him and he was the one who ruined himself. I have met people who became successful through betting and the difference between them is the ability to control oneself when the choices we are making are wrong.
It is so unfortunate that lots of people have been ruined by their addiction because they don't know when to quit what's ruining them. I once wrote about how important it is not to quit trying in life until we achieve success but there is a possibility of us running at a high speed in the wrong direction towards success and that would be a complete waste of time.
My interaction yesterday made me understood that there are times we need to quit in life regardless of what hope we are getting from investing our time, effort, and money on anything to avoid regrets later in the future.
When is the right time to quit?
As I have said earlier, quitting is something I preach against a lot of times. When pursuing our dreams in life, it is unhealthy to tell or encourage people to quit because of the challenges they come across. We all should understand nothing great comes for free in life, it requires lots of sacrifices and effort to conquer every challenge we encounter but giving our all into shortcuts for us to be successful is a terrible mistake. The victim I mentioned earlier channeled his strength and fund towards the wrong thing which is making him regret it today.
We have seen people who pursue their dreams for over twenty decades because it is worth it, they keep grinding until their dreams come true through hard work but what do you say about someone who just wants to be successful without hard work? I sometimes refer to them as dreamless people because they put their resources into something that would ruin them at the end of the day.
Make a U-turn.
When we discover that we are not walking on the track, the best thing to do is to quit running in the wrong direction regardless of how far we have gone. It is best to turn around when we still have the opportunity to do so because it can get too late in the sense that we might be out of the resources we will be needing to embark on a new trip.
There is no shame in taking that decision today, you are not old to change as long as you have the resources to do so. If you are out of resources, you might never have the opportunity to get off the wrong road again in life.
It is the beginning of the new month and it's not late for us to achieve the target we were unable to achieve in the previous month. I pray that everything we lay our hands on this month shall prosper, remember to spread love and stay out of trouble.
Ummmh, this is deep. There are times quitting might be the solution. But when we are channelling our strength and resources towards the right path, quitting should never be an option, but patience and consistency.
