Is there a future aside from this one we live in?

What comes to your mind when people talk about the future of the world?

I was listening to a program today and they asked what people see happening in the future, after lots of comments from the listeners I didn't see much difference between the present world and the future.

What kind of future do you foresee?

People believing that there will be a future where the world would be at 100% peace is impossible, a future where people will die no more due to advanced technology in the medical field is not going to happen except as promised in the scriptures.

A future where people will be immortal and lots more are what lots of people are hoping for but I don't see those things happening.

Aside from the challenges the world is facing, we should be prepared for more as a result of the human terrible impact on nature. That's not the case, let see if we are really living in the future or there is still something unique ahead.

These things got me thinking and I concluded that the future sneaked upon us, it didn't announce its arrival but we can see its presence with the things going on around the world. The future is here already and the things we would be experiencing are upgrades of the present world.

I wrote this article expressing my thoughts and I stand to be criticized if my claims are wrong.

I want to admit that the old world ended a long time ago but we didn't pay attention to it, that's why we think there is still a unique future awaiting us somewhere.

Yes, things will be done in new ways but as I have said earlier, it would only be an upgrade.

For instance:

A few weeks ago, the news of the new iPhone 13 spread like a communicable disease. It brought a lot of excitement to phone lovers and iPhone addicts but I wasn't surprised, the company has built the name, and what they need now is a new upgrade for every model they produce.

Now to the proper discussion, I will briefly touch on the point and I hope you understand.

I will be using real-time situations to back my claims on humans living in the future already.

Cryptocurrency

The invention of crypto is one of the proofs that the future is here already.

Before now, financial freedom is something we have been craving for. Many hoped for it then and believed that someday, somehow, someone will give the people the freedom they need to have with their money.

Satoshi Nakamoto came up with Bitcoin, which was the first digital currency that was supposed to hand over financial freedom to the human race but its purpose was hijacked. Then, Bitcoin Cash came to make the dreams of Satoshi Nakamoto come true and I do prefer to call BCH the perfect upgrade or the best of cryptocurrency.

With digital currency existing now, what other future should we be expecting if not an upgrade of what we have already? What baffles me now is why some people are still finding it hard to embrace the future they have been waiting for or they just probably know it is the future.

Medical

Looking at it from the medical aspect, science and technology have shown us all and I think the only thing they haven't succeeded in doing medically is creating a life.

A lot of transplants have been done in recent years which involve heart, kidney, and other body parts we never thought would happen, these things are proof of the future.

Medically things have gone from replacing body parts to the point of enhancing the body parts and changing one's organ to that of the opposite sex, so what more should be expecting?

There have been upgrades in how illnesses are been treated and I think we will keep seeing more that would help medical practitioners save more lives.

Transportation

The transportation sector has reached the future a long time ago, do you know many days/months/years our forefathers spend on the road traveling from one country to another?

Today we can travel around the world with ease as long as we have what it takes, we have trains that run like electric currents, jets, electric cars, autopilots, drones, rockets that travel into space, submarines that can operate underwater so what else do we think the future still has to offer? A time traveler (teleportation), I don't think that is going to ever happen.

To my understanding, people who are still waiting for the future might struggle to blend in with the upgrades especially when it has to do with things like cryptocurrency where we experience upgrades every day.

Aside from all that, the world is changing fast. One or two upgrades happen every day and we must try to always update ourselves. From my observation, people who follow the upgrades and try to catch up remain relevant no matter what comes up.
