Humble Beginnings
Life is hard. They said you need to face all the problems to survive and there is no shortcut to begin with. In this life we need to become faithful in order to focus on our main goal.
Everyone has a goal to accomplish. I also dreamt of being a successful one someday. I study hard in order to finish my studies with the help of my grades in High School, God blessed me humbly to got a scholarship for college studies.
Life at that moment was so hard that I barely seen myself and my sister ate for three times a day. We saved every single penny for my miscellaneous fees and we did some extra job to have extra income.
God is really a good provider and a loving God for He didnt forsake us. He helped us in times of trouble and hard times. He bestowed us His loving hands by giving us friends and families who helped us and comfort us in darkest moments of our lives.
As a promdi in school of exclusive school in Quezon City, I really felt different from them because of social status and lifestyle they have. My classmates and schoolmates are very friendly despite of social differences. Thank God for the school admins who served Him with goodness and preached out the Word of God to the students.
Those moments are memorable. I may graduate without honors due to some instances but I'm totally fine with it because I believe that with or without honors if you truly believe in yourself and you strive hard to reach your goal that is a greatest achievement in life.
After college, I took the board exam and thankfully with one take I passed it with a humbly score. It's more than I ask from God to gave me just 75 but he gave me so much more. Blessed are those who believe and there is nothing impossible to Him.
My family are very happy with my achievement lalong lalo na ang ate ko. She knew I worked hard to earned what I achieved at that moment. She was there when I needed comfort and a friend to talk to. She supported me all the way to achieve my dream so I owe her a big one.
After passing the board exam. I applied in private school and luckily I got hired. I worked there as a Elementary Teacher despite of being a Secondary Teacher. I experienced having a good boss and a supportive co-workers. My 1 year experience created a big impact to my life as a person and also as a Teacher. The fire is burning. My passion is really for teaching.
Pandemic took over so my family decided that I should go home for my safety coz I have low immunity and just continue my profession in our humble island.
When I reached our island, I need to follow health protocols and mandatory quarantine. I know its hard but I need to do it in order to be sure that I'm not a carrier. God is really good all the time He blessed me with a two helpful and a good person to be with in our 14 days mandatory quarantine.
I enjoyed my quarantine and thanks be to God. We are not a carrier of the virus. I also thanked my parents and my boyfriend for being supportive to all my needs.
After quarantined, I applied for GIP position in our municipality for the meantime and I got hired for 3 months. 3 months passed and I've been absorbed by the municipal hall in our town and worked there for almost 3 years under the supervision of the Municipal Mayor.
I've been judged by my neighborhood (Marites) because of my certain employment. As they said why I'm working as a Job Order for I am a Professional Teacher. They also talked about my lifestyle and I admit its really saddened me to being compare to other people about their achievements.
Despite of those negative comments about my life, I totally ignore them and focus on my work at that time. While working at the municipal hall, I also applied for the the ranking position as Teacher I.
I earnestly prayed to God to bless me and give me signs if teaching is really my passion and he didn't betray me. It was nightime when my sister chatted me and passed the results and congratulated me for passing the ranking. I overjoyed and cried because of happiness. By the way it was also my sister who shared me the result of my board exam. Ganoon siya mag-suporta. Sobrang excited din siya.
Everything is really possible. You may be less fortunate but its not a hindrance to achieve something greater in our life. Problems, hardships or struggles are just normal for those person who had dreams. For every problems there is a solution. We are so blessed to have our love ones to share happiness and sadness in our life.
Those moments are my greatest achievements so far. I passed the ranking and waiting for an item so I can be hired as a permanent employee of the school as a Teacher whom I dreamt of. My dream. My Passion. My Humble Beginnings.
