From Nothing To Something

I have heard and seen a lot of people, I mean a lot of people who shared their stories from how they grew from nothing to becoming something, a really big something for themselves that people desire and look up to and become more or less like them in the future.A particular estate developer said he did not jump into the position he found himself today sharing a throwback picture of himself and his wife, he said and I quote " We didn't Jump Up we grew up! Nothing like luck in Life. Anything you get by luck you loose by chance".

These words and the throwback pictures struck me, and I learnt that truly you can become something from nothing in life if you're ready to go on the journey of process, progress, consistency, diligence, hard-work. The stories of people who grew up from nothing to becoming something looks inspiring to people, people wish and desire to become like them because they are doing pretty well financially and they look good to people that people look unto them as their role models. Growing from Nothing to become Something happens in all careers and professions, there are numbers of doctors, lawyers, footballers, actors and actresses, musicians, motivational speaker, top business men and women, celebrities and many more that have shared stories on how they grew from nothing at all in their community to become something that people now talk about in their society and the world at large.

As a lover of sport and most especially football, there are numbers of footballers who have shared their stories of how they came out from their local community where poverty is relaxing and chilling in a big time with nothing and them move to cities in order to become something for themselves and their families. So many inspiring stories from these footballers on how they beat poverty not through just talent but through goals and plans, determination, support from families and friends, consistency, diligence, hard-work, courage and so on through thick and thin. Inspiring stories, from footballers and today when some people see them they see them as someone lucky, but they(people) forgot the process of how they grew up from where they're nothing to where became something. Let me use the stories of these two football G. O. A. T( Greatest of All Time) Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, they both grew up from nothing to something really big that the whole world celebrate, they both grew up from a relatively poor background, they both grew up having people supporting and some not supporting their dream and they never relented, they both grew up having goals of what they want to become, they both grew up putting hard-work, consistency, diligence, courage to their dream in order to become something, and still they've never stop growing to become something.

Most People who are successful in the society will tell you they just don't meet themselves in the position they're today or moreover they weren't born with a silver spoon, they struggled for it positively, they paid a price, they gave their effort, time and best in becoming something for themselves. These successful men and women moved and progressed through phases, life taught them different lessons, they fell and rose, they were determined, they worked towards their goals and dreams. The aspect most people love is their successful part, the way they progressed through life phases isn't of concern to people looking at them as role models, but I tell you these successful men and women paid a price for what they are today, to become successful you have to pay price of determination, hard-work, diligence, courage, focus, consistency, resilience and so many other, every backed up with your Plan, Goal, Dream, Passion or Talent. Rome was not built in a day and a Journey of a Thousand miles begins with a single step.
