Foods in my photo gallery

Hello, everyone! Ten days to go before Christmas. I'm sure you'll be excited, right? We're the same. I'm also excited but kind of sad because my other family members decided not to attend our reunion because of the pandemic, and their houses are too far away. I hope by next Christmas we will be complete.

So while I was scrolling through my cellphone, I decided to visit my photo gallery because lately I haven't been active in posting anything on my cellphone or my Facebook account. I admit, since I was a member of this platform, I'm not active on my social media accounts and my friends notice that.

Well, Read Cash is my new social media platform. While I was scrolling through my photo gallery, the pictures of the food I ate caught my eye. Every time my auntie visits us from her travels, like yesterday, she visits with her boyfriend the falls in Antipolo, Rizal. She always have a pasalubong .

So I decided to write an article about the picture foods in my gallery, because why not, right? Kidding.Before I write this article, I promise myself that I won't be hungry. It's my fault if I'm hungry. 

So let's go...

I took this photo last year. I think it's New Year's Day. My uncle baked it because he worked in a bakery for almost 12 years. I miss eating this. My best target is the toppings on the top of the cake. lol! Actually, he always baked a cake every time Christmas and New Year were celebrated. But unfortunately, this coming Christmas, I'm not sure if he will bake again because he was fired from his job for stupid reasons. I hate her boss because my uncle worked at their bakery for almost 12 years, and the owner of the bakery did not believe my uncle's trust. And his salary is so low. 

Who wants Jollibee? Do you want it? I want it too,lol! For me, the best fast food is Jollibee. I like their ice cream and spaghetti. Well, this photo was taken when Uncle B got his first salary after the pandemic happened. He gave this to me and my older brother, sometimes her child, which means my cousin. I always look at them if their mom is at work. Yes, at the age of fifteen, I'm proud to be a nanny for my cousins. lol! It's okay because sometimes my uncle and his wife give me some food every time they go grocery shopping. I'm missing eating this. Please treat me.

Okay, this one is my favorite of those photos in my gallery, because it's so delicious. By the way, this is a vegetable salad. The ingredients are carrots, cucumber, litus, and mayonnaise. My mom decided to make vegetable salad when we ate a lot of chocolate. I don't know why, but she said this is healthy and the first time I tasted it, I did not approve of the creamy, so I decided to buy again mayonnaise in the store and put it all on my vegetable salad. I tasted it again. Finally, the second taste is so delicious. Should I be a chief? kidding!

So this package is from our mayor or captain in our barangay. I'm not sure, but I just want to say thank you because at Christmas we have a fruit salad on our table. Haha. My mom doesn't like fruit salad because she says it's too sweet. She doesn't want any sweet foods, but her favorite is chocolate. Funny, right? But I'm sure this coming Christmas she'll be doing a fruit salad. Finally, after so many many years, haha. I'm sure I'm the first person to eat fruit salad at Christmas. Eating the food I like while doing my school work that I didn't want. 

Lastly, this cake is from my auntie, the older sister of my father. My older cousin passed the board exam in CPA and gave this to us. I knew from the start that she could pass the board exam because, since she was a child, she'd always been at the top of her class and she graduated in accountancy at Magna Cumlaude. I'm proud of her. She's always had a serious face, but her heart is so precious. When she got her first salary as a CPA, she gave me and my older brother some money and this cake. I'm very thankful that God gave me this family. This is the biggest gift ever.

Sorry guys, if you're hungry because of my article today. I'm already hungry too, and I want to try it all. While I was writing this article, I realized that the pictures we took are really important because, at the end of the day, you see in your gallery the foods you enjoyed eating. Yes, that's a memory, but it's a gold one because of that food. We are happy. We had a good time being humans on this planet.
