Hey folks,
Just a little post to share with you some photographies I have been able to shoot during my daylife in France.
Here the second part of France - Beautiful Old City Doors (Lyon), a new blog I am creating about French daylife photographies.
"Lyon is a French commune located in the south-east of France, at the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône rivers. Seat of the Lyon Metropolitan Council, it is the capital of the district of Lyon, of the Rhône departmental district and of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Its inhabitants are called the Lyonnais.
Lyon is located at the geographical crossroads of the country, north of the natural corridor of the Rhône Valley (which runs from Lyon to Marseille). Situated between the Massif Central to the west and the Alpine massif to the east, the city of Lyon occupies a strategic position in the north-south traffic in Europe. Former capital of the Gauls at the time of the Roman Empire, Lyon is the seat of an archbishopric whose holder bears the title of Primate of the Gauls. Lyon became a highly commercial city and a first-rate financial centre during the Renaissance. Its economic prosperity was driven successively by silk, then by the appearance of industries including textiles, chemicals, and more recently by the image industry."

I love the big church door. Its details are great. I hope I could see one too.
