The previous episode on QUESTIONING EVERYTHING.. I discussed about how asking questions will lead to development in our knowledge and we will eventually understand things in ways a normal person wouldn't and you can check it here
I concluded the article with “I would love to ask series of questions but I would ask it in the next episode of questioning everything" and this is the concluding part of the article where I would ask those series of questions and I hope you all have answers to it all.
Kindly check out my awesome sponsors
I'd make a list of all the questionnaire, and I'd like you to consider whether they are your thoughts and beliefs. Is it necessary to interrogate them? ...or what will happen if you subsequently question it?.... These are the concerns.
1. You can't do that, it's irresponsible
2. True happiness doesn't exist
3. Happy ever after is for fairytale
4. It's okay to not show up everyday
5. I should be easy on myself
6. Life isn't always perfect
7. Marriage has its ups and downs
8. You have to crawl before you can walk and you have to walk before you can run
9. Life is filled with challenges
10. Work smarter not harder
11. All men do is lie
12. True love is not possible
13 Hard work pays off
15. Mistakes are bad
Are these all true?.... Why do we think these are true?.. and Maybe it's true... Let me consider the “ 15th which is mistakes are bad" is mistake actually bad?.. what if they are good and what if we gladly accept mistakes because life is meant to be fun and mistakes makes it more fun and we work better to avoid mistakes happening again.
If any of these questions grab your attention in one way or the other. I would encourage to give them more attention.. like why did you believe it or why don't you believe it and what if you believe the opposite of everything I listed even though it might be hard to consider.
I think what we should consider is that, what thoughts serves us.... The truth is that whatever we believe in will be among those things that actually drive our life and eventually shape and mould who we will eventually grow up to be. Just like how young people think that money is life and they want to experience that wealth people are talking about, no matter what you see that this is what drives them to do what they can't do on a normal day.
Example of how our thoughts can drive us, in the case of marriage... If we believe that marriage is meant to be perfect, how will that drive us and how will you treat your partner or spouse if you believe that marriage is meant to be perfect?.... This thought will determine how will we show up in our marriage life just to make it perfect and if we believe the opposite which is marriage is not meant to be perfect, you will notice how partners will behave whenever they make mistake and they will always give excuses that marriage is not meant to be perfect.
Our thoughts affects our behavior as a whole. It's okay to take different stance on what we all believe in but trying to believe in something new might looks uncomfortable at first but repetition will make you believe it's true
CONCLUSION
I would love to ask some few questions once again..... Can you do hard things?....are you capable? ..... do you have a choice? what can you question?.. I think these questions are great because it will make you think. I'm not trying to make you paranoid or trying to shake up your entire world, I'm just trying to give you something that will make you think.
If what you believe in now is working, wonderful; you don't need to change; however, if it isn't, you must examine it and change it because you are the only one who can do so, which can happen as you grow, keep evolving, and change. New ideas and a more positive personality come from new concepts.
I would finish off this article with this quote:
We are only as blind as we want to be that means if we want to see more or learn more it's very easy to do that, we are the only one that can stop us from what we want to achieve or learn.
Thanks for reading 💙
Most of the things you listed and why some people believe them is experience, and how often they reoccur in our life's. Although people choose to believe what they want to believe in.
