Legends of the origin of the Lady of the Night
Vietnam.
Where a maiden fell in love with a gladiator, so she did not have his same rank. They were meeting in secret until the maiden's father found out. The next act was to lock up the gladiator, the maiden managed to discover the place where he was locked up, so she bribed the guards to be able to visit him at midnight. When her father found out about these nocturnal visits, he gave the order to take the gladiator's life, the maiden was very sad and disconsolate, unable to overcome her pain for that whole year, taking her own life the same day of the gladiator's death.
This monarch blamed himself for the death of his daughter, wept disconsolately over her grave, and one day a strange flower appeared that had a unique fragrance. The monarch named her lady of the night, which bloomed on the anniversary of the death of both. It is said that some people saw the monarch talking to two people when he was alone in his room. In many parts of the world some people claimed to have seen the maiden when the plant blooms, I have not seen it yet and I hope not to see it either, hehe.
