I got to say he's really amazing though his basic attacks are very low compared to other 5*
like Keqling even they both do have a similar attack pattern
Albedo is best used as a support.
The good points?
-His crystalize reaction doesn't eat up the debuff on your enemies so if you're using a thundersoother set or lavawalker don't panick having albedo in your team is just fine.
- Super friendly to gear up- i've got a pile of stuff with def% in my inventory and i bet so do you.
- His talent provides with 125 for 10s for an E.Burst of 12s so 125 E.Mastery almost 24/7? I love it.
Stat priority on Albedo
-Geo dmg%, Def, crit, crit dmg , elemental mastery
-attack is next to useless. I don't know with what his E.Burst scales but i can tell for sure it's definitely not a sensible portion of attack i'll even go to say I've come to value e.mastery more than attack on him since crystalize works against all except geo/anemo.
The best weapon for him?
Harbinger of Dawn (shouldn't it have been a 5* weapon or 4*) This weapon gives 2 thing you care about crit rate 28% and crit dmg of 46% so you can go with a crit dmg headpiece 62% to get a sweet crit dmg spot of 46+50+62 of at least 158%!!
The best artifact combo
2 piece of Archaic petra - def def%, crit rate, crit dmg, elemental mastery is what you're looking for 2 piece of noblesse oblige 2 piece of Wonderer's Troupe works nice on him! - it won't be a 20% burst dmg but the 80 elemental mastery will contribute to your E.Skill reactions with a slight chance to even outdps a Nobless Oblige vs single enemies. 1 goblet with geo dmg
Some questions about Albedo :
Can Albedo be a main dps?
Definitely not, his 1st attack which is what you'll be spamming has a very low base of 36% if you'll go check even a 4* like Bennett who has 44.5%. And if you're going for that Geo Sync bonus, please be smart, Albedo still can't be a main dps.
Is the Festering Desire good on him?
Yes.. and no , Festering desire is maybe the easiest weapon there was too level up and refine and the 32% dmg on skill and the 12% crit might lust you, but Albedo definitely doesn't need recharge since his E.Burst is only good vs good of enemies and it does charge up quite fast given the amount of reaction you can get with his E.Skill. Albedo is a support unit with little presence on the field let that alone be said He won't be taking damage, so Harbinger of Dawn will shine over Festering Desire even in the Abyss
Can I combo Albedo with Zhongli?
Yes, The geo contruct can help proc more crystalize reaction, given you've put a reaction to occur this can make your team even be able to survive without a healer so if you have a main dps sword like Keqling with The Black Sword, you can easily make a fully offensive team. But definitely don't get trapped by Geo Sync bonus and try to make Albedo a main dps. I've seen people with def% goblet, is it good? Using a def% globet is good, but it's definitely not best. Albedo has a 12s cd on his burst which needs to be used to gain 125 E.mastery! Needlessly to say that since you'll be using it a lot you'd want this E.Burst to do decent dmg with a 5* goblet you can get either 58% def or 46% geo dmg. geo dmg directly affects both his E.Skill and E.burst
At C2, His E.Burst can only gain 30% of that 58% or 69% dmg if you can make his E.Skill hit 4 target with 1 tickle or wait to gain 4 stacks needlessly to say this requires luck or you'll be losing even more dps from ur main dps if you don't switch out Albedo fast enough, while 46% geo dmg is a win-win situation even vs Single target. Albedo can gain around 4K dmg with his E.Skill if you go with a +58% def but he'll be losing around 13K dmg on his E.burst on that same lapse of time without 46% geo dmg. So for people who rotates alot and are able to generate energy easily for his team the Geo dmg is definitely the best route even with C2 Albedo.
