Eid in Bangladesh

The main festivals of Muslims are two, and both are Eid. There is joy in both, but the celebration and expression of this joy is different.


We have chosen Eid, which comes at the end of the month of Ramadan, as a big occasion to celebrate. Celebrating Eid with a month of fasting should be seen as a reward. The other Eid, Eid-ul-Azha, comes two and a half months after this Eid.

At a time when our economic situation was not good, most people had to fight poverty, buying another set of clothes and shoes for the whole family on  Eid-ul-Azha
