I read a story from a little storybook, about a sovereign who shut down the only little church in his realm. The announcement was passed and the declaration made, the activities of the chapel have become a nuisance in the realm. A large number of the occupants of the realm have disavowed their faithfulness to the gods of the land to serve the genuine God. The noises from night vigils were turning out to be deplorable, so the congregation should be shut down.

The degree was quickly passed, and soldiers with their swords and lances scoured the little church and everybody was driven home. The sovereign secured the congregation corridor by and by and took the key home.

People and families got back, yet as opposed to being debilitated by the circumstance, every family began a congregation directly in their own homes. One shut church chapel brought forth a few home chapels. The noises from night vigil petitions as acclaims by the sovereign which he attempted to stop by shutting down the congregation chapel increases the more. There was singing and playing from several houses in the realm.

Seven years past the sovereign couldn't bear any longer, he chose to reopen the congregation chapel for the people to serve God. As of now, the numbers of faithful worshipers have expanded so much that the little church corridor couldn't contain them. This lead to the opening of more worship places in the realm.

When the Coronavirus struck the world in 2020, and a lockdown was forced on us, it was sure that we won't meet for worship any longer. It was likewise a thing of worry that a few groups may drop out of confidence. When all that you hear is awful information on individuals dying from the awful Chinese diseases, an expression of confidence is needful to keep trust alive.

Like the account of the little church and the sovereign described above, a few families including myself began holding fellowship and supplication at home doing the same thing we would have been doing in the congregation. My home in a real sense becomes my church, neighbors and some other companions come to my home on Sundays to join with us in fellowship and petitions unto God.

I live in an enormous compound, at first, we began in my sitting room with my family and two neighbors. As the numbers of individuals began expanding though not more than 15 people, we moved to the open compound and never used the sitting room any longer. It's important that doing a church at home in this regard was gainful to a severally of us.

The prayers were done with purer hearts than they would in a congregation as a rule. Interruption was insignificant as the individuals who come knew why they came.

Book of scriptures study was done with much interest and closeness. We have the opportunity to talk about issues of confidence more like a family and help each other. It was a thing of happiness for me to in any case have the option to help some of my brethren in Christ during this period. Additionally, the home church helps us bond more with one another and to be of help to the individuals who need food help.

Discussing palliatives, I did all that can be expected for certain individuals who were near me and a couple of others from my congregation. Bags of rice were purchased and divided between individuals however it was rarely enough. A little with bliss is superior to much with petulant.

Since everybody was remaining at home, it was a decent chance to meet individuals in my area and to preach the good news of salvation to them. This was really what individuals need during this season of vulnerability. Individuals happily listen to the gospel being preached to them and several of them acknowledge the Lord Jesus as their Lord and savior. As the lockdown was relapsed these individuals were added to the congregation so expanding the numbers.

We are not, at this point in a lockdown, however, a severe proportion of adherence to social distancing, wearing of a nose mask, washing of hands, and staying away from large public get-togethers are being kept up.

Although, the vast majority presently don't take those careful steps seriously, and the discussion of vaccination is nothing to worry about. In my part of the world, Coronavirus is viewed as a scam utilized by the people in government to siphon public funds. The proof is there for individuals to never accept the government directives since the palliatives and other government assistance that was intended for individuals was stolen by the top government authorities whose obligation it was to disseminate the said palliatives to individuals.

This is similar to my experience during the lockdown too. Our Parlous became our church and then our compound.

My Dad said when the closure of Churches and Mosque was first announced -We are not agreeing to the Closure of churches because we believe it's the right thing, rather we are because we are submissive to the Government. Just like a worker submit to instructions from his boss. But we will come out stronger. And today we are stronger in christ

I am glad we can attend fellowship gatherings and church services every Sunday despite the pandemic. Every week is so tiring, we gotta recharge every week so we can face the battle of the week to come.

Friend,

We live in very dark times, where our faith is being tested. There are those who think that we are reaching the end times. Well, I think so myself.

In times past there were horrendous trials for people. And today, many brothers suffer an ordeal. So regardless of beliefs and cultures; no one will be able to deny that something great is about to happen.

In this sense, you have to be prepared, especially on the spiritual plane. You have to seek intimacy with the Eternal and trust that in the plan that he has for humanity.

What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulations or peril or the love of this world, or even noise pestilence? No. God forbid.

We cannot be stopped. Nice write-up sir.

As long as these meetings make people stronger and reach out again this is the best option. Not only during a lockdown but always. In some way many are lost and so are churches over here. If it comes to the 'pandemic' I too believe the government uses it to get what they want. Sneaky laws, lost freedom, no traveling... It all fits in perfectly in what they announced before the pandemic. Thanks to the fear spread hardly no one pays attention to what is really going on.

The end of the middle class, a few rich ruling, bad education, no pets, animals allowed and so on. All in name of the pandemic, a virus, too save the elderly who were refused in hospitals. Those who say the truth are deleted out of the society, not taken seriously, lost their jobs and enemies of the state.

'Conspiracy therories' have a new meaning. Today everyone who doesn't agree with the government is scolded at and and told this is conspiracy! Which has nothing to do with the term. A stupid (not educated) nation is what lays ahead, the handful of rich men want.

Thanks for sharing your story/view
