Cryptocurrency is still a strange concept in most parts of the world, the reason for this is because of the way it has been packaged by the foremost of its kind which is Bitcoin, and then the government restrictions on it. People living in rural areas do not know anything about cryptocurrencies and may never know if the trend by which it's been propagated remains the same. The poor, the malnourished, and the ordinary people in several rural areas in the world are completely cut off from the Crypto train. The very reason for which Bitcoin was invented to free humans from the financial oligarchy vested in the central government still holds sway. And the poor are getting poorer while Bitcoin price is getting higher. The very problem for which Bitcoin was invented to curb in the world financial system is the same problem Bitcoin has put mankind again. It has been accumulated in the hands of a few individuals and throws everyone else into a game of speculation and survival of the fittest.
The issue of rising in value is not a problem but the utility of the coin. How many people have a few Satoshi of Bitcoin in their possession? How many people have used Bitcoin to buy a piece of bread or make a pot of soup to curb their hunger? Your guess is as good as mine. Just a handful individuals across the world. Bitcoin failed the principle of democracy of money and it's now money of the few by the few and for the few. The world masses have been locked out. The average person has no part in this system, the hungry and the poor people have no part in this system and can never be. Bitcoin is an asset of the rich by the rich and for the rich. Never a time have we heard anything about adoption in the Bitcoin cycle. Adoption of what? The big whales and institutions want to have it all, and they know how to pull the trigger that put many into speculation all for their gain.
But we have an alternative, a better alternative in Bitcoin cash. What Bitcoin has failed to do Bitcoin cash has come to better. Now the poor will have hope, the hungry and the destitute will have hope, a hope that must not be truncated by few as in the case of Bitcoin. Global adoption is a core aspect of the Bitcoin cash roadmap, and now merchants adoption. How possible can these be when almost everything about it is done on the internet. The uneducated average person knows nothing about the internet, the poor people in the rural areas are yet to know about the use of the internet. Even most people living in the cities are busy 24/7 days having no time to look into their phones for information. Bitcoin cash must not close the gate against these groups of people. The gate to adoption must be open wide enough to allow everyone across race, culture, education, and financial status to come in. If this is what we want in the Bitcoin cash community then the internet is not enough, foot agents must be involved to reach out to the rural areas with educative and supportive material for them.
Instructional involvement in Bitcoin cash BCH is good but it must not be as the case with BTC, otherwise, mass adoption and merchants adoption will not go well down the line. BCH needs to be in the hands of more people for a Bitcoin cash merchant's economy to function. If the limited and scarce coins are allowed to be accumulated by a handful of individuals or institutions driven by speculation then Bitcoin cash is heading the way of its elder brother Bitcoin. The only advantage I see for institutional investment in BCH is if they are ready to share with the public, the poor, and original people. But I doubt if there can be anything like that. All I have seen are the philanthropic and sacrificial gestures of a handful of individuals in the Bitcoin cash community which has brought many people together in one community, giving hope to the poor in Somalia, Sudan, Mozambique, Nigeria, Philippines, Bangladesh, the Netherlands, Korea, China, Russia, Turkey, Germany, the America and a host of other nationalities through the internet.
BCH will be much valuable in the hands of the poor and average person whose interest is to solve the problem in daily life. Value here isn't about the price but the usefulness and availability. A man whose pension allowance has become worthless due to inflation can have hope if that same amount of money is received in BCH and there is a ready market to spend it. BCH does not come to replace any virtual currency but to stand on its own and give the world a chance to make a choice either to continue with the valueless Fiat currencies or chose a better alternative. Now the world has a chance to be a better place.
