BCH is not for the mooners but humans, let change the language

Each time BTC hits a new high all you hear or see posted everywhere on social media and cryptocurrencies platforms is "BTC to the moon" so much that new entrants to cryptocurrencies get carried away and fall into a disaster without any knowledge of how cryptocurrencies work. This is also the same with most of us in the Bitcoin cash community, in that any time BCH goes up in price we are singing everywhere BCH to the moon, but when it goes down a little we are crying all over as though we have lost someone. But we are not where we used to be, BCH has maintained an exponential increase for six months now and it is not because anyone screamed "BCH to the moon". The slogan "To the moon" has put many people into catastrophe and now makes cryptocurrencies look like a scam. BCH is not money for the mooners but humans and must be addressed with human language.

This "To the moon" has been bothering me for a few days now. Whenever I heard or read BTC hit a new high followed by the "To the moon" memes and the likes, I always feel uneasy and quickly check my BCH wallet to see where am I. I know I am not the only one who feels that way. The "To the moon" language affects, and the effect is a killing type. I also think such language should not be used for BCH when we know it is money for the people and not what could break someone's heart when it refused to go to the moon. I love reading about new cryptocurrencies and exploring new opportunities, but the constant use of this and that to the moon is annoying and sipping the living sap out of my veins.

The sentence may hold some value in BTC and other Crypto that almost look like a pyramid scheme but not for BCH that is aimed to add value to humans lives by giving financial freedom to everyone. BCH is not going to the moon, it is meant for humans and we should think of how to get everyone on Earth to use it rather than thinking of sending it to the moon. You might think I don't understand what the statement "To the moon" means, I do but I will like to tell us that not everyone would get rich holding cryptocurrencies, you might not be able to hold on for that to happen. I know some of us dream of becoming billionaires with BCH and we will want it to go to Mars if possible. Good, but you need to take it easy, or else you might end up heartbroken. Think of BCH first the way it's meant to be, money useable for payment of goods and services electronically on a peer-to-peer system without an intermediary. Think about the benefits of using BCH as means of payment instead of Fiat currencies. It's ridiculous to see someone holding $560 which is about the current BCH price thinking of being a billionaire in six months all in the name of getting to the moon. Ignorance people who believe that and invest in cryptocurrencies could end up heartbroken when their dreams to the moon never happened. BCH is not a get-rich-quick scheme and you may not even get rich holding it for some reasons. I have stopped thinking about BCH getting to the moon and start thinking of it as money to be spent. It may increase in value, good, but my concern is to see how BCH becomes usable the way I use Fiat currency.

We will all be pleased to see BCH hit a new high but the circle of jerking and going to the moon seems ridiculous to me especially when it's on repeat. There is nothing special about the moon because nothing is there. Nobody has been there since the first man visited in 1972. The moon is only a reflection and a direction. It isn't really height that far in terms of the universe, there is no up in space. So let keep it cool. I suppose "exponential growth!" should be the right language for BCH instead of to the moon.

The statement "To the moon" has sent many people into untimely death during incremental price movement. Someone feels let be not Fomo and put all his savings in cryptocurrencies expecting a 100× return only to see the price goes down drastically in a moment of a minute. The Crypto market is so volatile, and we should really be used to wild and increasingly to moderate price swings on a daily and weekly basis. Long-term gain, network technology, and adoption are what will determine price valuation. So let's talk about the things that make BCH the best choice among others instead of trying to read charts like an oracle.

Many who first bought crypto in 2017 went "to the moon" and saw more money than they would ever have in their lives. But they came back to earth and then crashed through the earth's surface and went bankrupt. We must be careful how we present BCH to people, I don't like to hear "BCH to the moon", let us tell people how useful BCH is for the good of society. BCH is not for the mooners but humans.

i have thought for a while now of writing an article entitled "i don't want BCH to moon, we need it here on Earth" and you've summed up my thinking well here.
