The voice of the people has spoken, there is nothing I can't say more but pick up where I have stopped and moved on.
Following my recent article that got tipped by @MarcDeMesel, a user with the username @HadEnough under a pseudo account came up with an article addressed to me and other prominent authors to defame and undermine our efforts and sacrifices in this platform. The author has written that we use the platform in a circle within us. Something like us has the power to decide who is given and how much the writers should get on this platform. When I saw this article, I intended to put the author on the true path to how the system works I thought he is new, but the alleged author marked my comment as spam, and that is exactly what he wanted and I fell for it.
@HadEnough, I knew you have written that article because of the frustration and envy of the success of the people mentioned in the said article. And since these people you mentioned with me have responded appropriately, I don’t want to dwell on it but move on to aiming higher. I have nothing against you and that is my position honestly.
This month will make me a year and two months here on this platform. I've seen so many people come and go, I've seen so many changes and frustrating moments coming at this hour. I have seen how this site has changed to what it is today. There were times when we were struggling to get points that would be converted into BCH daily, and I hardly get 200 points a day that was just the equivalent of $.50 in BCH. To tell you the truth, sometimes I don't even get $.20 a day but I kept writing. My motivation has always been my passion to write. Many other changes have taken place on the site, several people found it unfavorable and left.
Now, come to think of the people you mentioned in the said article, do you know what they bring to this platform? I may be an old user on this platform but I'm not at their level at all. I use to be an onlooker to the things going on in the BCH community and the platform generally. I use to think that the big tip is not meant for people like me, because I know I wasn't giving much value to get such attention. But my perspectives changed, that was about a few months back when I started seeing some excellent posts with big tips toping the read.cash home page.
I got to found out what makes this top post so special and why they deserve such a great reward. and it was two users @CryptoMax and @Pantera whose works caught my attention. I have to read most of their articles to find out what makes them stand out from the crowd. Their writing styles, the quality they bring, and the information in their articles are so different that even if I had enough BCH at the time I could give them a tip. I have been challenged by these two writers to dig deeper and elevate my game in the writing business. It was not the BCH tips they received that I was following but the qualities they possessed as a writer. I have seen that they do not just write an article without proper discovery and sufficient evidence to support their arguments. The first article I read by @CryptoMax was about 21 minutes read or more and the content of the article was factual and not stories. It also leaves me with the message that quality requires time and effort.
I’m one person who likes to be at the forefront of everything I do, and whenever I see something better than what I have, I try to figure out what makes it better and improve on it. Those two writers should be imitated, bringing something of value. You can see where I am coming from my friend. You do not have to be jealous when you see something that seems better than what you have, but try to understand why it is better to learn from it. You may think that what you have is valuable, that is just your opinion. As long as what you have is not valuable to others it is not really worth it. People have the right to decide what they want and what they do with their money. Your job as a writer is to find out what people like and expertise in that area.
In over a year of writing here, it wasn’t until February this year that I started getting a big tip. Leading to the time when I got my first tip was I sleeping? I have put a lot of effort into getting here. Someone told me in my early days here, I think it was @Telesfor that I had the potential to make it as a writer here, I couldn’t believe it. Many times I felt like giving up this person was always there to encourage me. He even told me at the time to write about what I knew best and not to try to write about subjects I knew little or nothing about. His words mean to me that I had to learn first. And that’s exactly what I did, I learned and learned about cryptocurrency and BCH in particular. If you have to write about BCH, your details must be factual. I remember one article I sent to the Bitcoin community that was rejected because the information presented was not true. I took it upon myself to read and learn more.
Getting Marc’s attention was never the motivation for my publication, but to be the first to reveal unknown facts. Something that everyone might be interested in. I constantly search for hidden information on several platforms and forums about BCH and other interesting news in the crypto space. I know I am still an amateur writer with only one year of experience and read.cash is the first blogging platform I will be writing for. I am striving to improve in my ability to write daily looking ahead to others before me.
In conclusion, I want you to know @HadEnough that I hold nothing against you because I know that you acted in ignorance and frustration. I forgive you for every wrongdoing. Free yourself, whoever you are, get involved in the work you came to do here. If you need help, those guys you mentioned can be helpful to you. Remember, you can't pull others down to get to the top, you only hurt yourself.
For your information, Marc tipped me again this morning $100 in BCH. How about that? Don't be shocked, there's something big coming.
If you write well, the attention will come by itself over time. There have been thousands of users here who have tried to earn money quickly with meaningless but many posts. You know that too. I noticed you a long time ago and saw that you are intelligent, determined and not in it for the quick buck. I am far from Marc's wealth, but I supported you to the best of my ability in the beginning because I believed in you. At some point I realised that you were standing on your own two feet and no longer needed my support. I am very happy that you have made such a great development.
And don't worry about enemies. Every successful person has enemies. That's part of it, unfortunately. It only proves that you are successful.
