In the eyes of Islam, the holy Friday and the night and day of Friday are extremely important. The beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, 'Surely Friday is the best day and the best day in the sight of Allah. To Allah it is better than Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azhar. ' (Ibn Majah) Friday is one of the days that Allah Ta'ala has made virtuous and special in terms of deeds. There are many rules and historical events involved with this day. Friday is the most virtuous day of the week. Another hadith says, "Friday is the best day for the sun to rise." Friday has been termed as the weekly Eid day of Muslims. Regarding the virtues of Jumu'ah, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Atonement is made between one Jumu'ah and the other Jumu'ah (for sins), if the poets are not associated with sins." (Muslim)
Friday is a significant day in Muslim society. Friday prayers are performed on this day. Muslims gather in the mosque of the house of God to perform the Friday prayers. It is the religious duty of the Muslims to leave all their busyness before the Jumu'ah Azan and go to the mosque in preparation for the Jumu'ah prayers. Regarding the Holy Friday, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'Remember that the best day of the week is the Holy Friday. There are endless benefits in performing Friday prayers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said about the Friday prayers: The mosques remain empty even after the Azan on Friday. At the last stage of the khutbah, the worshipers hurriedly enter the mosque, which is disliked from a religious point of view. On the holy Friday, Muslims, rich and poor, high and low, big and small, all stand in the same line and perform the Friday prayers. Because Allah Ta'ala has made the holy Friday prayers essential for us.
Following verse in the Quran that Allah Declares great, يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا نودي للصلاة من يوم الجمعة فاسعوا إلى ذكر الله وذروا البيع ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون 'O ye who believe! When the call for prayer is made on Friday, then go to the remembrance of Allah (in the mosque) and give up buying and selling (all worldly affairs). It is good for you; If you only knew. ' (Surah Jumu'ah: 09). Allah Ta'ala has called us to perform Salatul Jumu'ah or Jumu'ah prayers. The words of Hazrat Rasool Pak (peace be upon him), "Whoever is lazy and does not attend three Fridays in a row, Allah Ta'ala will seal his heart." Sad but true is that many Muslim brothers in our society do not perform Jumu'ah prayers even after hearing the words of Allah Ta'ala and the Prophet (peace be upon him) but are involved in various misdeeds in the society.
On the day of Holy Friday, seek mercy, blessings and forgiveness in the court of Allah Ta'ala by practicing truth and justice, sacrifice and good deeds in all spheres of life of individual, family, society and nation and wishing happiness, peace and prosperity of the country. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, 'There is an angel at the door of the mosque on Friday, and he writes down the name of the first person to enter the mosque. An example of this is that the first person will get the reward of a camel sacrifice, then the person who enters will get the reward of a cow sacrifice, then the one who enters will get the reward of a dumba sacrifice, then the one who enters will get the reward of a rooster sacrifice. (Bukhari and Muslim Sharif) What to do on Friday: Get up in the morning and perform Fajr prayers with the congregation and recite Surah Al-Kahf before Friday. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, may Allah Almighty fill the middle of Jumu'ah with light." (Bayhaqi Sharif)
It is better to recite more prayers on Friday. Because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘There is a moment on Friday when a Muslim wants something from Allaah, and Allaah accepts it’ (Bukhari and Muslim Sharif). Read more Darood Sharif on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on Friday than on any other day. Especially in the next period of Doa and Darud Sharif Asr, there is more certainty of acceptance. Darude Ibrahim in Arabic, meaning, uccarana Arabic: اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيداللهم بارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد say: "Allahumma salleala Muhammadao and Ala Ali Muhammad, Kama Sallaita Ala Ibrahima and Ala Ali Ibrahim, Innaka Hamidummajid. Allahumma Barik Ala Mohammad and Ala Ali Mohammad, Kama Barkata Ala Ibrahima and Ala Ali Ibrahim, Innaka Hamidummajid.
Meaning: 'O Allah! Have mercy on Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his descendants, as you did on Abraham and his descendants. Surely you are praiseworthy and honorable. O Allah! Bless Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his descendants, as you blessed Abraham and his descendants. Surely you are praiseworthy and honorable. ' On Fridays, cut your fingernails, take a good bath, wear clean clothes, use perfume, try to go to the mosque first, don't smoke, brush your teeth or brush your teeth properly. It is better to enter the mosque and perform the prayers of Durakat Tahiyatul Mosque, and to listen carefully to the sermon of the Imam.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever neglects the time of khutbah and wastes his time, his prayers will be ruined." (Muslim Sharif) After performing the obligatory prayers of two rak'ats of Jumu'ah prayers with the Imam, it is better to inquire about the neighbors, the news of the happiness and sorrows of the poor and to talk. I pray to the Almighty Allah Almighty that we may properly realize the importance of the holy Friday and do the manners and deeds of this day in the right way. Allahumma Amin.
