Inter-species friendships seem like such a pure, against-the-odds type of love.
But would it be fair to call these pairings ‘friendships’ or ‘love’ ?
Perhaps there is something else drawing them to one another?
Or maybe is it just humans that are anthropomorphizing these bonds?
1. After being bought from an animal trader, this monkey spent hours hugging and cuddling this puppy (Bangladesh).
2. A wet nurse for tiger cubs, because their real mother’s too weak to produce milk (China).
3. A baby monkey, a lion cub, and tiger cubs play at a Tiger Park in China.
4. A buffalo and a dog (Pakistan).
5. Anjana the Chimpanzee and Tiger Cubs.
6. Speaking of lice, this monkey helps a parrot get rid of lice at a wild animal park (China).
Numerous theories have been postulated as to why — The animals’ personalities; The predators are lonely and bored in captivity and would seek amusement in anything even in their natural enemies; The same common reasons humans keep animals as pets; and lots more theories)— but we don’t know for sure, why these unlikely bonds are established.
The lord is great.
Can't believe this animals can be this friendly too each other
