Microsoft announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard, a leader in game development and an Interactive Entertainment content publisher.

Microsoft planned acquisition includes, the famous and iconic franchises from Activision Blizzard and King Studios like: "Call of Duty","Diablo series", "overwatch", "Warcraft" and "Candy Crush". On Tuesday, January 18th, Microsoft Corp. announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard Inc., a leader in game development. The acquisition will accelerate the growth in Microsoft gaming company business across gaming platforms such as: mobile, PC, console and cloud; and will also provide building blocks and stepping stones for the METAVERSE.
