Stay positive
Good day guys, how are you doing today? I trust that you having a great day.
Let's move to today's article.
A lot of us have faced a situation wherein we're at a lull with something that is happening in our life. It could be anything, from something minor to something bigger. The cause could also be anything, from someone that you know causing sudden changes in your life, to dealing with a slow change that is happening around you.
The thing is, we all feel the same pain and emotions when we're faced with something like this. People usually deal with their bad feelings and negative emotions by constantly thinking about them and mulling over them. They might not talk to anyone about it because they want to avoid confrontation.
The thing that they don't know is that they're hurting themselves even more by keeping everything bottled up. The saying, "If you don't open your mouth and speak, you'll choke yourself" is true in this case. You need to let out everything that you want to say or do so that it doesn't cling onto you forever.
Dwelling in the negative will only make you live the experience over and over again. Not only does it keep hurting, it becomes harder to get past the situation.
There are people that talk about staying away from toxic people, but sometimes we close ourselves off to other people because we're still hurt by how someone else treated us in the past.
What if you could only see the good in the world? What if the only thing you could see was all the good things waiting for you? My advice is to see your life as an unlimited resource of happiness waiting for you, instead of dwelling on what actually happened and hold yourself back from being happy in this moment.
One of the ways we have been able to break our cycles and live in a place of gratitude is by writing down three things we are grateful for each day. These could be anything from 'I am grateful for my health' to 'the sunshine that just broke through the clouds'. Whatever they are, write them down and practice gratitude.
It's understandable if you find the positive in a situation that seems unbearable, especially when you're going through a breakup, getting fired from your job, or dealing with any other painful situation. But I also know how rewarding and effective positivity can be.
When you're experiencing a painful situation, it's easy to get stuck in a negative mindset. Your mind is racing, you're playing the events over and over in your head and you're feeling helpless. Even a few hours can feel like an eternity when this is happening.
I've never been able to change anything by obsessing over it. And I've never been able to see myself feeling any better by imagining how bad I could feel. Only by changing my thoughts have I been able to start seeing myself in a more positive light and change my situation for the better.
I believe that the key to maintaining a positive attitude is to approach each and every situation with positivity.
Even if you are living from paycheck to paycheck, are in debt up your nose and don't know what paycheck will be your last, you have to remain positive. If you have a bad day at work, don't stay on that and be negative. Try to remain positive as much as possible. Don't allow your problems or bad days to consume you. If you've lost a few friends, don't give up and quit on the remaining ones. Always remember that the worst case scenario is never as bad as it seems.
As many of us know, sometimes the best answers to our problems are solutions that we didn't even know existed until we started searching for them.
