Living in a well comfortable home, everyone should have a first aid kit at home and some things should be present in this first aid kit, these include
Bandages: these are used for holding, dressing, and immobilizing fractures or injuries
Disinfectant: use for cleaning and disinfecting the wound

Bottle water: storage of water, but you can always have that at home
Disposable gloves: to keep your hands from tampering with the injury
Face mask: now compulsory, but is to protect you from inhaling any harmful substance
Scissors: for cutting
I'm going to make this explanation simply because you all need it, I will sight examples and ways to counter it based on an accident that happens at home.
Bleeding
When a child or a person is using a knife or any sharp object and gets a cut from that sharp object, the first thing to do is take the person's injury to a comfortable place, then you start the treatment, if blood is too much, wash with clean water to know the where the cut is, then stop the bleeding.
If it is a small cut, you can ask the injured person to put pressure on the cut that is allowing the outflow of blood, the tip of the finger can be placed on the cut and after some minutes, the bleeding will stop, you can then disinfect, then dress it.
If the cut is bigger than the tip of a finger can stop, there are two ways, if you don't have the first aid kit, if the bleeding is from the elbow down to the fingers, you can ask the person to elevate the injured part above the heart level, that is, above the head, then get help, or take the injured to the hospital. If the first aid kit is with you, you fold a pad with your bandage, a square shape pad, then add a direct pressure on the injured part, tie the pad to the hand then take the person to the nearest hospital.
For Nose bleeding, Place the person in a comfortable position, like a chair, leaning forward by allowing them to face down and get a small bowl of sand so that the blood drops into the bowl, the reason is that if the injured person sees his or her blood on the floor, it can cause them to go into shock, Pinch the nostrils at intervals Apply a cold compress to the face, in case of severe nose bleeds, insert a clean pad on the nostrils and apply pressure by pinching the nostrils. Seek medical assistance. Note:
•• Never bend the injured person's head backward
Fainting
There are mainly two kinds of things that cause fainting.
Lack of flow of enough blood to the brain
Too much flow of blood to the brain.
How will you know the cause of fainting when your friend faints beside you or a family or relative. You will know from the face, that it is either the face is pale or flush, how do you know the difference? for the pale face, this is caused by the lack of blood in the brain, you use your hand to tilt open the fainted person's eyes, if its completely white, then it is a pale face fainting, give the causality enough space for ventilation, then rise the upper part of the causality body and seat behind them, after some times, they will come back. This kind of fainting is mostly caused when a person has been standing in a place for too long
For flush fainting, tilt open the fainted person's eyes, if it is very red, then there is too much flow of blood to the brain, give space for ventilation then rise the lower part of the causality body( the legs) up, after some time, the person will be conscious again. This kind of fainting is caused when a person is positioned upside down.
Note: There is a big difference between fainting and unconsciousness. And we are dealing mostly with frequent home accident
Hot liquid on the skin
This kind of injury is caused by hot water or hot oil in our home, when such happen, how do you apply first aid, firstly, when something hot pours on the surface of your skin, remember this, do not scrub or use a cloth to clean the surface when it happens.
Put the injured part under running water, clean water
Cover with a clean nylon
Take the injured person to the hospital
The reason why it is advisable to take the person to the hospital is that as a layman, you don't know the degree of burn the causality has sustained, but with a proper examination by the doctors, proper treatment can be applied and scars can be avoided.

This is really educative🎉. Now I'm understanding while a guy fainted while standing for a long time. We quickly rushed him out and he was reviewed within some minutes...I wasn't there so I don't know what they administered to him.
It was an embarrassing situation because he was standing as a protocol/security officer while the pastor was preaching.🤗
