Assalamualaikum everyone....

How are you all???

Hope you all are fit and fine in this Corona epidemic by the grace of Almighty.

I'm also well by the grace of Almighty Allah. But i have been suffering in a problem for a while.And the problem is hiccups.

I think sometimes everyone gets into this problem.It is very painful. So my today's article on how to get rid of hiccups.

The vagus nerve in our body or one of its conch branches (extending from the brain to the abdomen) is blocked or stimulated.Experts say it is usually due to digestive disturbances. It can be seen in children.

Two methods can be used to get rid of this.

1. the brain to do other important things. Then hiccups will be prevented from the brain.

2. Another way is to increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood. This then eliminates the body hiccups and Will be busy in expelling excess carbon dioxide.

Below are some ways to prevent hiccups -

1.Take a teaspoon of sugar and place it on the back of the tongue [where you taste the sour taste]. This will increase the tension of the nerves.

2.Some doctors say that if you get hiccups, put your fingers in your ears for a while. It will stimulate the vagus nerve.

But be careful not to put your finger deeper into the ear.

3. Hiccup goes away when suddenly surprised.

4.Hiccup is interrupted by drinking water. You can also gurgle with water.

5.Keep the tongue out, it will help prevent hiccups.

6.You can tickle the bottom of the face with a cotton bird.Any kind of tickling works to prevent hiccups

7.Hold your nose and close your mouth [the way you do before jumping into the pool] until the hiccups go away.

8.Breathe inside a paper bag.It increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the blood.

9.Magnesium tablets [antacids] are very effective in preventing hiccups.

10.When food is eaten too fast, air gets trapped inside the food which stimulates nerve . You can avoid hiccups by chewing food properly and drinking moderate amounts of water.
