Many people think that Boxing is a brutal sport which involves striking and getting injured. But they failed to understand that it is also a mind game as well.
The contestant should be prepared physically and mentally. Physical qualities of a contestant includes that the contestant should have good endurance, he should have good strength and should be agile. Mental qualities of the contestant includes he "do or die" attitude i.e. he should be mentally prepared for everything.
In between the rounds anything may happen to the contestant. The contestant may get hardblow on his face or abdomen, he may get exhausted. The contestant have to over come these types of situation and he should have "never give up" attitude.
Apart from becoming a competitive boxer, there are still more benefits in learning boxing. Boxing is the base for today's modern martial arts like Mixed martial arts, kickboxing etc. Boxing is not only a combat sport, it is one of the best cardio workout which burns lots and lots of calories. So it works for the whole body in getting it into perfect shape as well as mind, because boxing is one of the best stress buster which helps in overcoming negative thoughts and tune an individual's attitude.
Boxing is a simple and effective form of self defense which gives ability to defend ourselves. So it ll be very much helpful for girls or women that improves their self-confidence, physical and mental toughness. By going through regular training for minimum three months they can master in it and can able to feel the change within themselves.
During the time of training session, there ll be workouts and activities like long distance running, 100m strints, jumping workouts and more. By going through all these workouts and exercises, we can able to burn lots of calories and our endurance level ll be improved. There are workouts and exercises for improving our agility like ladder drills, cone drills by which we can able to improve our speed and quick moves. There ll be partner workouts by wearing boxing gloves to improve reflections and coordinations. There ll be workouts in the gyms like weight training to strengthen our body parts to avoid injury.
By going through all these workouts and activities we can able to feel the changes with fun.
