Most gamers are focused on good internal components such as quality display, powerful processor, graphics card.

1. RAZER Blade Pro 17

One of the biggest brands in gaming and a contender for best in class with a powerful Intel 8-Core 10th Gen i7-10875H which provides amazing processing power as well as a GeForce GTX 2080 SUPER MQ. The power + high performance provides 120Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution on a 17.3” display. IPS panel design allows better color performance than TN designs and also has wider viewing angles and also supports a touchscreen, allowing for maximum versatility. 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD for excellent gaming performance.

2. RAZER Blade 15

A slightly less decadent machine with a slightly less powerful CPU and GPU than its big brother that still offers superb performance along with Razer’s gorgeous design aesthetic. A 6 core i7-10750H and a GeForce 2060, a 512GB SSD storage capacity and the 16GB of DDR4 RAM allows for confident multitasking and steady performance under intense loads. This laptop will be able to easily maintain the 144Hz refresh rate. A 15.6” 1080p FHD monitor gives excellent visual performance that isn’t quite as crisp as the 4K resolution on the Blade 17. An excellent upper mid-range performance and visual quality.

3. ASUS Tuf Gaming A15

A well-known brand that has built its reputation as a supplier of key components including excellent gaming motherboards, after-market graphics cards, and displays. An excellent mid-range gaming laptop capable of smooth 144Hz frame rates on an excellent 15.6” IPS monitor at 1080p full HD. A solid performer that can reliably maintain 144Hz refresh rates and keep up with most modern games quite capably while remaining cool and having a lower power draw.

4. ALIENWARE M15 R3

A well known brand that built its reputation by providing gaming performance in a highly portable laptop package. The standard 15.6” display runs flawlessly at 144Hz in full 1080p HD thanks to an Intel i7-10750H and the superb GeForce GTX 2060. The 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD storage device allows for both excellent multi-tasking and fast boot-up times respectively. This makes the M15 super satisfying to use and quick to launch games and other software smoothly.

5. LENOVO Legion 5

An excellent gaming laptop that is taking advantage of Ryzen’s excellent new performance, alongside a very respectable GeForce 1660Ti which has plenty of grunt. The 15.6” display is capable of a standard Full HD resolution at 1080p, and as an IPS panel, it has brilliant color representation and good viewing angles. The 1660 Ti GPU and AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU will keep you at a stable 144Hz comfortably even on the newest and most graphically intense games. The 16GB of DDR4 is pretty much industry standard now and is capable of multitasking quite easily, while the 512 GB SSD allows for fast launching and start-up.

What's refresh rate?

The times the image on your screen updates per second. A 60Hz monitor has a refresh rate of 60 frames per second. A display with a 144Hz refresh rate can show 144 frames per second. The higher the refresh rate or FPS, the smoother your games will feel and the better they will look.

What's response time?

The latency between your game, your PC, and your peripherals. It’s the amount of time it takes for your monitor to actually show the latest inputs and information it’s receiving from your system. It’s measured in ms or milliseconds, so the lower the ms the better. IPS panels typically have slightly more latency, however, this is barely noticeable outside of highly competitive gaming.
