Quantity or Quality, which do you prefer?

Quantity refers to the amount of goods available to one; it deals with how much you have something in abundance or in few numbers while quality refers to how good, durable and satisfying a product or service is and may not be great in number; it deals with excellence, uniqueness and perfection; a person who prefers quality would, actually, not mind the price of a product as long as it is very good. Meanwhile, a person of quantity prefers variety-having it in numbers.

Human beings are different so are the choices we make. We all don't think the samàe way 'cause we were not raised the same way and I as an individual can only act or make decisions based on what I know.

I would say quality should come first because most times as mentioned earlier, they are durable-they last. Let's take for instance gold. Perhaps you got a earring made of gold, you can't compare it to the plastic one or the one painted with gold colour that will eventually fade and change to silver colour. Also, they tend to give you absolute satisfaction. For example, you wanna download a video on YouTube and then you go for higher picture quality, although it uses more data but as long as it gives you the best satisfaction, you're good. Or maybe you went to make your hair and you were given a different price different from what you are used but then you say, I don't mind how much it is as long as it is very good, then you are a man given to quality. You must have seen people like that or be one.

Some Misconceptions about Quality Products

  • Expensive product equals quality product: This is not entirely true, don't be deceived. Before buying a product, try to check it out in different outlets. Anyone can make a copy of a high-selling product and sell it at the same price. There are fake things out there! Let's be guided.

  • Only big people or companies use quality product: I believe it's all about preference. People managing or those from a humble background also use quality quality products. It's about what I like and what you like.

  • Low demand: I have never seen anyone who sells quality goods complain about low sales. Although, the law of demand states that the higher the price, the lower the quantity demanded and vice versa. But the law of supply equally states that the higher the price, the higher the quantity supplied. Can you see it now? For instance food. No matter how high the price of food goes up, people will still buy it. So change that mindset.

In all you do, aim for quality. Package your goods well, make it seem presentable. Also, don't exploit people in the name of selling quality; Don't assume everyone that drops by your store/shop has a lot of money and even if they do, still it's not your money.Be considerate while making profits.

Can I have both?

Why not? You can have both quality and quantity as long as you want it and you have the money factor, you are good to go. So go for it.

The misception of " expensive product equals quality" is very rampant at the part of my world. A lot of business people have used it to scam People. Selling low quality products on a high price

Likeeee that's why we shouldn't assume that because a product is expensive it is automatically of high quality.

I don't think anyone that knows the essence of a product will ever go for quantity when quality that will last longer and have the value for it is there.

True but they try to consider the money at hand. I like that you use "the essence of a product".
