A mysterious monument

Planet 9

Some new information has brought back a hidden planet. Technically planet 9 is an assumption. So much so that this planet is a potential planet hidden in the furthest reaches of our Solar system by the force of gravity responsible for the strange organization of space debris beyond Neptune. It has long been speculated that there is a hidden, gigantic planet that affects the orbits of all of the farthest objects in the solar system around the sun. This hypothetical planet is estimated to be about 5 or 10 times larger than earth and about 800 times further from the sun than earth. In 2021, scientist Michael Brown suggested that planet 9 may once have been closer to the sun but was ousted by Jupiter billions of years ago during the formation of the system we know today. But the Trouble is, planet 9 has never been seen by any telescope before. It seems impossible to confirm or deny its existence. Also, as far as we know, planet 9 takes 20000 years to complete its orbit so far from the sun.

A hole in Antarctica

A research team from the University of Toronto has discovered a gigantic hole the size of Panama on the surface of Antarctica. Looking at satellite images of Antarctica, it looks like someone or something has dug a giant hole in the middle of the ice. however, in reality, this state where the waterhole is surrounded by Sea ice is called Polinia. Poliniayas usually occur in the coastal areas of Antarctica. This Poinia we're talking about is different from the others because it took place hundreds of miles from the coast. Without satellites, no one would have known about this Polinia in the interior of Antarctica. This polinia is about 77700 square kilometers. Scientists cannot yet say how this occurs. Their best guess is that the temperature of the water in the Southern ocean is abnormally high, causing the sea ice to melt and create a large gap in a relatively solid ice sheet. No one has any idea what this event means and how it will affect us.
