Everyone has a story to tell. No one would say he/she doesn't have a story to tell. Someday, somehow, somewhere. It's normal in one's life, when you are in a bad situation or a time when you are in a predicament and find it hard to come out of it. Such is life. Sadness might come in the night but joy comes in the morning.
That condition you find yourself today isn't where you will find yourself tomorrow. Because time flies. Lat me tell you a story of my life. There was a time when I and my family find it difficult to afford three square meals a day. I also find it hard to to wear nice clothes like my peers. But all that didn't discourage me to steal or engage myself in any immoral act. I have a God whom I serve, and he will surely change my story and he has an answer to all my problems.
I'm a kind of person that don't make friends anyhow, although the one's I have we're not that good. I was tempted a day to go bet for footballs which is called "Naija bet"but I didn't try it. I am not saying it's bad to bet, but I don't engage in such because that is not the end of my journey. So many things tempt me to to stray from the path I deem true but I fought relentlessly. And I pursue my dreams.
I never gave up on God and I keep on seeking him, both in the times of trials and distress. But now I and my family are doing really good without assist from anyone. some people lost hope and went the wrong path and they all ended up not fulfilling their dreams but I tell you that with God all things are possible. Because you will have a story to tell to your children, grand children, nephews, nieces. Stay focus and put God first in anything you do and one day you will have a story to tell.
Love at first sight
Love at first sight, as we all know is what most people has fallen into, in this present days. And I also want to share my experience on what love at first sight has caused me. I fell in love with this outspoken, vibrant, young lady. On the first day I set my eyes on her, whom I never knew was married with kids. I met her on my way while driving to work. I passed through a stopped car with it's bonnet open. But something drew my attention. Do you want to know? Her beauty, she was charming with pleasant look. Her complexion could have been mistaken to a turned on light, when switched on the dark.
I reversed my car back and parked. I came down from my car and headed straight to where she was standing, and we exchanged greetings. 'Hi pretty ' and she replied back 'hi'. What could a pretty young lady be doing under the sun, standing alone. I trickled and she smiled. My name is dan and you? I'm rose she replied well my car just stopped on the way while heading for an important meeting. I had to get some boys who helped me to push it down to this spot. And I am running late "she said ". Oh sorry for what happened, but don't worry I will get my mechanic to come fix it up for you. I bright out my phone and called my mechanic, directed him to the spot where the car broke down. And i said to her 'can I drop you off to your place of work, because you are running late, you can come pick it up, when you are done. Will that be fine by you? Yeah that's fine by me, and am really grateful for you generosity. You must be a wonderful husband to your wife, and she is so lucky to have you 'she said 'sorry I am not married i am still single and searching 'I replied' don't tell me you're not yet married she asked. No am not married I said. I accosted her to where I parked my car, and drove her to her place of work. After a long drive with discussion we got to her place of work and exchanged numbers, and we went our separate ways.
I never stopped thinking about her, ever since I met her. She refused picking my calls nor replying my messages. I didn't give up until I met her the second time, where I went shopping. I noticed her first and called 'ROSE' she was with a little girl that has looks like her, but I didn't think of that if it was her daughter. My attention was just on rose. She saw me and gave signaled the little girl to go wait for her in the car. 'Hello dan' and I replied hi rose what's up, long time no see, where have you Ben all this while. No picking of calls nor replying to my messages what happened I asked all this questions at once. She gave me all sort of excuses, and I didn't take it to heart. But I was glad that I finally saw her again and this time I didn't let her go.
Days later we went outing, like cinemas zoo, boutique. And I also bought her a brand new car, also a new house bought under her name. All this while I was lavishing my money on her, going shoppings from one country to the other, I never knew she was married and hadn't notice that the little girl I saw her with on the day we met at the shopping mall was her daughter. Because I didn't care to ask nor find out more about her. All I want from her was to say yes to me when the right time comes, when I will ask her to get married to me. She also has access to my bank accounts and some of my properties. My money kept on going down in my account and my account manager wouldn't even let me know that rose has been transferring my money to hers. I asked rose and she didn't deny it, she only said that she was saving it in her account for future purpose when we get married. I listened to her because I don't want to loose her.
I got prepared on letting her know that I want to get married to her. I took her to the best lounge in town. We were welcomed in and given a seat. We were served what we ordered for. Aver we finished eating, I then proposed to her. I never knew that all the shoppings, honoring my invitations was all planed with her husband. Her phone rang immediately I proposed to her. She picked and pretended to be crying after she hanged up, she took her bag and told me that her attention is been needed in the village and that her mom is at the point of death. On hearing her explanation, I allowed her to go. That was the last day I ever set my eyes on her.
Few weeks later I got a call from the bank that my signature had been forged and all my money in my account has been withdrawn. On hearing it I collapsed on the floor an wept bitterly. I picked up my phone and call rose if she has an hand in it. Immediately the phone rang a man picked, I was shocked because no man has ever picked my call anytime I call rose. The man explained himself to be rose husband and that they traveled out of the country for good. He then told me that all that has happened between rose and I were all planed by the both of them. My car my properties were also sold as well. After the long explanation he hanged up. I felt as if the ground should open up and swallow me. And now love at first sigh has ruined me and my life has been doomed.
Time waits for no one
Time waits for no one in this world. So you you have to do all the needful and also do the right thing, at the right time.
Do the right thing, and at the right time. At the right place with the right people for the right purpose. Don't wait to be told on what to do before you do something.
You might be in school and always depending on your parents for monthly allowances. But there will be a time when your parents will not be able to support you, and then you now end up saying 'HAD I KNOW'. No don't be like that, be sensitive always and know what to do because its your decision.
Start from now and plan ahead of your future, so you don't and up like others achieving nothing in life. A lot of people didn't achieve anything in life because they didn't plan ahead, and do the right thing at the right time. Let me tell you one thing 'YOU FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS' don't misuse the talent given to you by God.
You might be good at drawing, playing soccer, singing, playing of instruments, dancing and so on. You can explore with the talents you have and that's why there are so many ways of exhibition your talent and don't copy others.

My mind set

For me they should be at least grateful for the gift of life for them been among the living, because it's not everyone that was born with a silver spoon.
Been alive is a grace because it's not by our power nor by our might but by the mercy and grace of God. Where we are today is not where we will find ourselves tomorrow, we shouldn't wait for manner to fall from heaven before knowing the right thing to do. Start from now and plan ahead, don't wait for something to happen but make something happen. I am also grateful for the gift of life, I don't know about you. Some people we're nobody but today they are somebody. I was a nobody yesterday but now I am a somebody.
I hope you understand me and do better to have a mindset of the things happening around us and round the world.
Never give up
You've come too far to give up now, all you need to do is to put a bandage on those scarce. There's no need to be held by failure, because you can beat all of the odds. So if you feel under pressure and scared beyond measures, lost a close treasure you have to remember because you are not what people call you and can't limit yourself to what people are telling you because you are who you are.

Firstly what is lie? Lie is an act of saying something which we believe to be false, with the intentions of deceiving those to whom we are speaking. There are three kinds of lie. (i) jocose or told in jest. (ii) Officious or those told to escape some evil, to obtain some benefit,or to excuse ourselves or others. (iii) malicious or those told with the intention of injuring his/her neighbor.
Most people go through some kinds of set back which affects them in the future either in schooling, marriages, businesses and also find it difficult to conceive. Because they haven't reconciled with the past. Which has caught up with them in the present future. What are the things you must do if you ever find yourself in the situations listed above firstly:you are bound to make him/her good name as for as you can. Secondly :you must do all your possible best to bring back the good name of the person whom you told lie against and ask for forgiveness, and also contacting the lies told by you in the case of ditraction or by doing all you can to restore the good opinion in which he had been held. Lastly:go to God in prayers and confess your sins and ask for forgiveness because prayer is the master key and also in anything you do put God first, test and see what the lord will do. Never tell a lie so as not to the predicament of lies. Because liners go to hell.

Fake news is been spread everywhere both In the internet, social medias, newspapers and so on. A lot of people wouldn't even bother to confirm first if it's true or not before jumping into conclusion on what they heard nor see from the net or social medias. Some people end up arguing with others on what they hear or see, and also end up fighting and get injured. False procrastination also known as rumor are been spread on the internet or newspapers by retired journalists, young youths and those who have nothing doing just to earn money and also tear down the image of the FG or the country.
Retired journalists without pensions are now making fake news go viral on social medias and also on net just to make money and earn a living for themselves. We should note that the federal are on the search to arrest fake news publishers and journalists who publish fake news and making it known to the people. You can listen to radios station and watch news on your television because they do not publish fake news and they are also in partnership with the FG. They do not go against the rules of the FG. My canceled trip
It was a bright sunny Monday morning, with pleasant atmosphere. I was overwhelmed and full of joy. I headed straight to the bathroom, took my bath brushed my teeth, arranged my luggage's and do all the needful before heading to the living room to greet my mom and dad. They were sitting together in our new cushion chair which my dad purchased two weeks ago.
I know you might be wondering why I was full of joy that morning, well having said so. My elder sister will be celebrating her 50th birthday that will be holding in the united state of America (USA) which is in 2 days time. I so much admire the country a lot and it has always been my dream vacation, you know with a lot of snows falling everyday with cool atmosphere which can never be compared with my country Nigeria. Harsh weather with lots of noise everywhere where you can't even make a call along a busy market full of crowds. The day to day buying and selling, hawkers along the streets and markets, sounds of engines and grinders, moving vehicles, tricycles, blowing of horns and sirens from cars.
Good morning dad good morning mom, I greeted and they replied in unison "morning son" how was you night that was my moms voice and I replied "my night was marvelous. My dad started first 'son' you might feel bad for what I am about to say but just take it to heart and bear with us, I promise that when next your elder sister would be celebrating her birthday you won't Miss for anything in the world. I jumped our of the chair and ran straight to my room without waiting to hear the concluding speech he has started, for I know where he was heading to. That my trip to the states has been canceled. They were calling me but I pretended deaf to their calling! I banged my room door and locked my self inside. I felt so bad and really hurt as I fell on my bed and sobbed silently. That my joy had turned to sadness.
My mom

Your advice's are always glued to my heart, and that is why i always seek you when needed advise. I can't be whom I am today if I didn't come into existence through you. My mom my world, my woman my everything. The first milk I tasted was through you! I LOVE YOU MOM. The first food I ate was from you! I LOVE YOU MOM. You were my teacher and preacher before enrolling me into school! I LOVE YOU MOM You stood by me when I was been humiliated! I LOVE YOU You took very good care of me right from when I was a baby! I LOVE YOU MOM You clothed me, you nurtured me, you were always awake to watch me sleep before you go to bed! I LOVE YOU MOM I was in your womb for 9 good months, only God knows what you passed through then till I was put to bed! I LOVE YOU MOM You passed through pains just to make sure I see the light of the world.
You are my hero and my heroine you provided for me when I couldn't fend for myself. You nursed me when there was no nurse you covered me with your wrappers and blanket when I was cold.
This world is great and greater with you mom. . The mountains are high when I needed someone to take me higher. But you were there to take me to the highest.

But you took me more further And always be my comforter So that I can become great In the future And tell my children the adventure of my mother.

The wrong decision
The incident which led to several criticisms of my role involved dour of our friends. I have been under severe criticisms And almost all my my friends except you who You who asked to know my role in the incident.
The incident started one afternoon when we we're in our room pretending to be observing our siesta. My other four friends Jeff, men, Donald, mich and I could not sleep. We we're discussing various issues concerning our school, when our discussion drifted to the school poultry and orchard. It didn't take us long to arrive at the general belief of the majority of the students that we are benefitting from the school poultry and orchard as expected. My friends and I then planned to sneak into the school poultry and steal some eggs and fowl.
We concluded the plan to jump into the poultry farm through the fence around 11:30pm at night after the light out. Before the end of the siesta, we consummated the plan and we went about the other school activities without going back on what we agreed upon. After light-out on the day we planned to execute our intentions we set out on our plan. We sneaked out of the dormitory, under the cover of the dark night, and moved towards the school poultry farm through the back nigh walled fence with great thuds. Soon after landing in the farm house without sustaining any injury, we we moved toward the stores where eggs are stored in crates.
We packed many crates of eggs and loaded in our nylon bags with the aim of moving towards the cages where we intended to steal some fowls, it was while trying to take some fowls that the night guard woke up and flashed his torchlight in our direction. We felt as if the groung should swallow us because the punishment would be grevious if we we're caught.
Out of fear we took to our heels and struggled to run out of sight towards the fence which we came into the farm. When we got to the fence all my friends we're able to scale it out of the farm while I was caught by the night guard while struggling to jump with a nylon bag full of eggs.
I was taken to our house master that night and my name was written down after which I was released to go to my room. When I got to our room, my friends were on on their beds pretending to be snoring. The next morning before we went for the assembly they initially begged me by not mentioning their names when ever i was called for questioning. I told the frankly that it would not be impossible not to mention their names because the night guard had seen them when we we're running away in fright.
What they are castigating me for now is that i mentioned the names of my co-offenders. my explanation that I couldn't but mention their names fell on deaf ears. I believe that since we committed the offense together, we should be punished for since our attempt to steal from the school farm failed. I hope that you will understand and do your best to explain my own side of the story.

Depressed youths often have problem at home. In many cases the parents ads depressed, as depression tends to run in families. Over the past 50 years depression has become more common and is now recognized at increasingly younger ages. As the rate of depression rises. So does the teen decides rate.
It is important to remember that the behavior of depressed children and teenagers may differs from the behavior of depressed adults. The characteristics vary, with most children and teens having additional psychiatric disorders, such as behavior disorders or substance abuse problems.

The importance of science and technology in national development cannot be over emphasised It is a known fact that no nation can develop without science.
What is science and technology? Science is the study of knowledge which can be made into a system and which depends on seeing and testing facts. While technology is the practical application of scientific knowledge. Developed nations of the world like the Soviet union, Germany, France, USA etc boast of several scientific inventions which makes them to be rated as the world powers.
Science and technology is the pivot of any nation's development. A nation without science and technology is a backward nation. Such nation will be considered undeveloped. Science and technology is associated with modernity and it is an essential tool for rapid development. Modern gadgets in all aspect of human comfort are inventions of science and technology. Electricity, aircraft, telephone, television, laptops, computers and other forms of machinery could not have been invented without science and technology.
Science and technology is also very essential in the production of medicine and treatment of disease. A nation which lacks the necessary science and technology in the area will have to depend on other developed nations for the existence of it's people. Such a nation can not be said to be in development because it has to depend on the whim and caprices of other nations with the necessary science and technology.
The development of a nation depends solely on the amount of science and technology at the disposal of such nation. A strong and virile nation is a nation with adequate technology to make its people comfortable. A nation without science and technology cannot feeds it people because agriculture require the application of science and technology.
Furthermore science and technology helps in the area of unemployment. The rate of unemployment is high in some country simply because many graduates of science are either under utilised on unemployed. This is so because there is no scientific and technological development to match the number of graduate churned out of our universities every year.
Countries without science and technology too can join other giant nations of the world if their government could spend more money on science and technology. This is the only way countries can launch itself into limelight and world recognition as a developed nation.
Indiscipline among youths at a public symposium
The whole country is sinking under the heavy yoke of indiscipline. Indiscipline is any action, utterance and societal behavior that run contrary to the norms, customs, and conventions of the society. It is prevalent among youths who often channel their youthful energy and agility towards actions and behavioral patterns which negates the rightful societal norms, actions and behavioral expectations.
Flagrantly youths disrespect elders and constituted authorities. They indulge in criminal activities like frauds. Popularly known as 419, forgery, violent assassinations, robbery, violent demonstration, prostitution and other forms of indiscipline.
Why are our youths so much involved in indiscipline? This is a serious question that should agitate the minds of every meaningful citizens. The reason are not far fetched. Indiscipline starts from the home. It is obvious today that many parents abandon their wards to nannies when they are babies and to teachers in the schools when they grow up to school age. As a result of the economic depression in the country. Parent who should be taking care of the children go out very early in the morning to come back late. It cause indiscipline among youths in the sense that parents no longer have time for their children. Some parents are drunkards and drug addicts.
How can the situation be uttered? What future do our youth have? I still believe that there must be away out after all. "WHEN THERE IS LIFE THERE IS HOPE". This means that if we want to ERADICATE indiscipline among our youths, all hands must be on deck. The home which is the nucleus if the society and the government must be ready and committed to inculcate discipline in our youths.
I want to use this opportunity to advise parents to spare time to train their children and teach them moral lessons. Parents should give them sound education because the youths are the leaders of tomorrow. The future of our country depends on how well we train our children.
Finally the society should always praise and reward handwork exemplary display of Discipline, honesty and other good virtues. Indiscipline youths, drug peddlers, fraudsters and rubbers should be reprimanded and treated with scom. When we implement these suggestions we would have been on the way to achieving a disciplined society.

Poverty ERADICATION must be mainstreamed into the national policies and actions in accordance with the internationally agreed development goals forming part of the broad United Nations Development Agenda forged at UN conference and summits in the economic, social and related fields .
Poverty should be taken to actions and enlighten the people on ways they can be able to earn a living.
It's not wrong to be upset
It's not wrong to cry. It's not wrong to want attention. It's not even wrong to scream. What is wrong is to keep all inside. What is wrong is to blame and punish yourself for simply being human. What is wrong is to never be heard and to be alone in your pain.
