Thursday: out of home

Went out yesterday again and this time went to a place that is really not that safe because there might be a lot of people there. Was a bit excited though even if were just going to commute. I guess going out was also good since I've been having bad moods lately I don't know if it's because my birthday is coming up or it's just because that I'm already bored being stuck and not being able to do a lot of things.

We went to Quiapo Church, Ongpin where Manila's China Town is located, and after that, we went to Divisoria! Yep you read it right. We went to Divisoria yesterday and it's a different Divisoria because the road is clear from traffic and even the Divisoria is not that crowded too.

LRT ride to Carriedo

We took the Light rail transit from Rotonda Taft station going to Carriedo station and boy I think the last time I rode the Light rail transit without too much passenger was way back high. You can literally run inside the train from one end to the other end. Was expecting the train to be full as we passed by each station but until we alighted at Carriedo station still the train is only half full.

The ride took us 20 mins going to Carriedo, and our first stop was Quiapo Chuch. We walked for about 5 mins from Carriedo Station going to Quiapo Church, usually the road that is leading to the church is full of vendors but now the area is clear and not much people walking too.

So this is Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene known canonically as the Parish of Saint John the Baptist and also known as Quiapo Church. Before we enter the church they are also checking our temperature and sprayed alcohol on our hands. They also have arranged their seats to a one-seat apart set-up to observe the social distancing rules and you have to fill up the contact tracing form.

It's been a long time since I got a chance to hear mass inside the church usually we only have it online because of the lockdown, and because I'm not sure if I can still go out again on my birthday so I already grab the opportunity to give thanks to the Lord for the year that has been and for giving me another year to enjoy life to the fullest. It's always feel good to visit him inside the church.

After going to the church, we head to China Town to have our breakfast, we rode the tricycle going to China Town. We wanted to eat at Ying Ying tea house but they are still not accepting dine in so we ended at the Wai Ying restaurant. On our way to Wai Ying we change our mind to just eat at The President's tea house but they are still closed so we just continue our walk to Wai Ying. Luckily Wai Ying is accepting dine in so we had our breakfast there at 9:30am. We ordered dumplings, fried rice, tofu with soup, and my favorite buchi.

After our breakfast at Wai Ying we head to Divisoria to buy some stuff and some ingredients for our Chinese dish that we are going to cook for father's day. We rode the e-bike going to Divisoria Mall. It was 10 mins ride from China Town going to Divisoria Mall. The security was quite strict at Divisoria Mall. We had to follow health protocols like wearing a face shield and face mask while inside the Mall. Usually, Divisoria Mall is jampacked with customers but now it's different. I talked to the sales lady and asked how's their business is going, but she only answered me that even though there's not much customer she is just thankful that their store is still open and that they are still earning even though they are getting below minimum.

Honestly, after having a small chit chat with the sales ladies, I wished that no matter hard it will be I just wish that their employer will not let them go and because of that I took the chance to invite them to sign up at noise.cash so they can earn extra income.

After buying all the stuff that we need we headed home, while inside the taxi I was thinking about the sales ladies that I invited to join noise.cash and hoping that they signed up because if noise.cash can help me I'm sure it can help them too. :)
