Places to visit in the Philippines - Part 6

And we are off to Part 6 of our virtual tour of the Philippines. There are so many places that we already visited like most of the part of the Northern Luzon, Central Luzon and now we are going to continue revisiting places in the Southern part of Luzon. In part 5 of this series we covered the places of Tanay, Majayjay, and Calamba Laguna, now let's continue our tour starting with

Let's visit first the town of Sta. Rosa Laguna where you can find the most thrilling and enchanting theme park here in the Philippines called the Enchanted Kingdom.

Enchanted Kingdom

The first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines. Where you can find the most enchanting and thrilling park here in the Philippines. When you enter the theme park Eldar the Wizard will welcome you with so much joy that just seeing him will give you the feeling of excitement, then add the view of all the rides and other facility and you will be in a world of fun that you will forget about your problems.

Tagaytay City

The popular getaway town south of Manila. It has a mild climate and it sits on a ridge above Taal Volcano Island surrounded by Taal Lake. If you want to escape the hot weather of Manila, this city is the place to be. It has a spectacular view of Taal Lake, nice hotels to stay in and you can also find there the famous picnic grove, People's Park in the Sky and if you are interested to ride on a zipline you can also find one that is located at the picnic grove. If you are looking for a place where you want to rest the whole day and have fun at night this place is suitable for that with cool weather to let you enjoy your drinks at night.

Calatagan, Batangas

Calatagan is a 2nd class municipality of Batangas where you can also find nice beaches for the weekend getaway. One of the beaches that I've been to in the municipality is Burot Beach and the Stilts Calatagan Beach Resorts. Both beaches have clear water. Burot beach is known as camping destination while Stilts offers all the comfy weekend getaway that you need.

I love both places because both of them offer different activities. I love how comfy the Stilts beach resort is and waking up in the middle of the beach, foods are served and you can even have an airconditioned room while in Burot beach you have to go back to basic sleeping in a tent, cooking your own food, bonfire. I love the sunrise at Stilts and the sunset at Burot beach.

Nasugbu, Batangas

Nasugbu is a 1st class municipality of Batangas that offers nice beaches where you can do Scuba diving and snorkeling. It's a 4 hours drive from Pasay where you will pass by the province of Cavite then Tagaytay and Calatagan. Most beaches in Nasugbu are deep. Here you will find the famous Punta Fuego Beach resort, Hamilo Coast, and Eagle's Point to name a few.

For Eagle's point resort if you want to swim on a beach they will bring you to the island across their resort, they will also serve your food there if you want then during the night you can still enjoy swimming in their beautiful swimming pool with the sound of the waves at night.

For Terrazas de Punta Fuego you also have a choice if you want your food service or you want to cook, but here the service of the crew is more classy than Eagle's Point. They also have a swimming pool that you can swim in if you are not comfortable on the beach. But hey, is there anyone out there who is not comfortable swimming on beach?

Laiya, Batangas

If you want white sand in the province of Batangas, this is the place to be. It is a popular beach destination in the province that becomes a favorite destination among travelers from Manila.

It offers a wide selection of accommodations, ranging from budget guest rooms to high-end beachfront resorts. If you want to visit some resorts here I recommend you the following resorts to visit according to my favorites go to the beach in that area.

If you want a high-class resort that offers you luxurious service and amenities Acuatico is the resort for you, they offer an infinity pool that is facing the beach shore of Laiya. The second is the Acuaverde beach Resort and the third is the Sabangan Beach Resort. That's my top 3 resorts in that area.

As I said earlier Acuatico is one of the luxurious resorts in Laiya. Their infinity pool is really one of the best that I've seen on this stretch of resorts. The rooms are well decorated, the food is good and it is also well secured.

For Acuaverde, They don't have a pool but they do have a nice shoreline with cabanas where you and your friends or family can have drinks till the wee hour of the night. One of the rooms that I loved there is the one near the beachfront with a beautiful view of course. Acuaverde is also good for company outings since they have lots of rooms and function rooms where you can have your team building session.

Sabangan resort is for a small group. The resort is not that big but good enough for a group of friends that want to escape the busy life of the city. Their main attraction for their resort is really their pool that is not that big but enough for the number of persons that their resort can accommodate. If I remember it right I think they can only accommodate up to 15 persons.

If there is one thing that I've enjoyed working as an admin in a corporate world, it's the privilege of going to these places. That is why I love being an admin and an event coordinator you got a chance to enjoy these kinds of places for free.
