December 16, 2021 **A**nd just like that half of December has already passed... Time really fly so fast and another year will be over, are you now ready for the new year? Have you thought or list down your New Year resolution? **N**ew Year. Me and my friends always wish for this every new year. We always wish everyonea Happy New Year. New Love. New Adventure. But it is always the new year and the new adventure that is happening with us the new love is quite elusive. I don't know but I guess we are just too busy with a lot of things that we forgot to find that one. **D**rink and have fun was always part of our New year party, we're just a group of five girls who are now far away from each other so this drink is not happening in the near future but will definitely find a way to have fun with each other. Did I hear someone says zoom party? Yes, That is the plan for this coming new year so the drink part might happen too but drinking alone in front of the laptop is not fun at all but will gladly do it just for the sake of making each other happy this new year. **I**magine what will happen in the next 15 days, I know it will gonna be lots of fun, in 10 days time it will be Christmas however I'm also worried that things may turn out differently than from what I'm expecting or what we are expeting because of this Omicron. I just really hope that people will do their part on taking care of themselves and following the protocols if we really want to have a merrier Christmas this year. `Thankful to these block of friend`s **T**hankfully, most of the senior people and those who have commorbidities are up already for their booster sho so please if you haven't had your vaccine yet please do so. I know its not easy especially if you have lots of doubts about the vaccine but also think of what it can do for you and for your family. Being vaccinated doesn't only mean that you are taking care of yourself but it also mean that you are taking care of your family. Let us not be selfish and think what is good for your family and your community, and when we say community that also includes our friends. **F**riends are one of the reason why Christmas is merrier, aside from our family they are the one who gives love and joy into our hearts. There are also some friends that we have forgotten already but I hope this Christmas we can have a few minutes of our time to keep in touch with them and to check them on how they are doing and to greet them this Christmas. Let us not wait for them to remember us if we do remember them, let the reconnection of your friendship start with you. Believe me, by doing this you will be able to make their faces smile with gladness knowing that you still think of them no matter how long time passed by.

Let us learn to forgive and forget of old grudges, of old heartaches, and let us embrace the joy of forgiving those people who hurts us, those people who harm us, those people who betrayed us. Remember you are not forgiving them because they do you harm, you are forgiving them because you want to give yourself the best give, the gift of clarity, the gift of forgiving, the gift of peace not only in your mind but also in your heart. **Y**ou are the only person who have the power to forgive those people who hurt you and the only time you can forgive others is by the time you also forgive yourself. **S**eason of giving. That is another meaning of Christmas season. A day or month in a year where all we can think of is to make other people happy, to give something without expeciting in return. And don't forget aside from materials things we can also give the gift of love, the gift of friendship to the people around us.
